I was itching to go on Saturday evening bc it is closer than b'port.
But, opted out bc I had to get to jfk the following morning (7 am).
I then read this story a couple days later.
Trying to shut down all the fun in central ct.

Posts: 791LMAO I am reading the warrant and can't help but laugh at the "The defendants could also view the lap dance room through.
Security cameras on screens in the back office".
I wonder what what they were thinking the night I saw a dancer from Bridgeport there (can't remember her name).
And her legs were spread and some guy was chowing down on her box right there in the lap dance area.
Pretty sure it was a Tuesday night.

Link to a media story about LE activities at EB. Looks like this stems from the raid last year. I guess the feds were working to make a good case.

Took at trip there on a recent Wed. When they are supposed to be having their 'so you think you can strip competition. No dancers on stage. Place was pretty vacant. Saw two ladies there. One was dressed nicely but looked like she had serious demons. Very very thin. The other was about 100 lbs over weight. Had one beer and left. First time I actually couldn't even get comfortable at the blue.

Went to luckys last night, got there at 11 left at closing. There wasnt as big of a crowd as I expected it to be for a Saturday night. 4 bartenders who were twiddling their thumbs half the time. Didn't see much action from the VIP sections. Seems like the dancers had their regulars over and were only interested in hanging out with them. Only had 1 dancer come over and chat me up the entire time. I enjoyed the music and drinks were standard strip club prices. Unless I know someone there, I won't be going back.

Posts: 236It's been almost a year since the bust. However, there doesn't appear to be any news of the advancing legal case in the media. Hmmm.
I doubt that LE and / or the feds are doing whatever they are doing to bust guys getting a lap dance. However, I like to relax while enjoying a lap dance and I am not certain I could get that relaxed thinking about LE / Feds rolling in.
It is a shame because EB was a good place back in the day (10+ years ago).
