Just got back from TJ. I crossed the border on Saturday and checked into Cascadas. As others have mentioned, they are now taking $40 as a deposit. My hotel experience was quite poor this trip. They gave me a room on the 8th floor. There are only two elevators that go to that floor, both are in the back of the hotel, and both were out of commission for most of my stay. So I ended up climbing a lot of stairs. Also, there was a lot of construction noise during my trip. I hope the hotel management is able to right the ship.

Also went to a few yakinikus, AYCE Wagyu steak and sushi houses in Kabukicho area in Shinjuku, most have on-line reservation for 2 people min, but a few would serve single diners, AYCE delish grilled and hot pot wagyu beef $40-50.

For girls and sex, Hentai and Soapland have offices within walking distances of the Tower with English-speaking workers. You can park up to 24 hours but that lot is light and they rarely check.

Take the trolley down to San Ysidro. It starts at 5 am and stops at 12:55 pm.

I went down Tuesday this past week. Got there around 11. Slim pickings when I got there, but still a decent selection non the less. As 2:00 rolled in, it got packed with new ladies that were actually hotter.

As far as going back, if going Ped East, at least an hr is needed. I have Global Entry and never had been more than 10 minutes. Just run the gauntlet and your through.

Super slow, difficulty even connecting. I think the installation of the new elevator affected the network.
