Sounds like they are trying to be super legit in an otherwise shady market. I've always believed the owners of these places had some police connections and kickbacks. This group probably doesn't have those and don't want to be setup for an easy raid. But making trying to make it too difficult for girls to apply and for customers to feel comfortable will probably have them fall flat on your face. It is funny that having security check people at the door has the opposite effect of people feeling safe inside. Really Jens had minimal problems compared to the place across the street that took over Georgie's space, but that was a late night after hours spot and those places always have issues.

LOL I don't think Stan or any of the other owners have the mental agility or money to do that. Unless the clubs put flyers into the paper that they are brothels I don't think the cops care or the owners as it's "on the dancers" if they do something. Look at Gatsby's North which is the most "posh" club in Akron, some women do things and some don't but it depends on the dancer and if they have security hovering over the VIP. The owners have better things to do than be a helicopter parent, similar to any job you work, some managers are more observant compared to others, unless you give them a reason to get in your a $$. Cops have better things to do in Akron which is violent, unless their is evidence that prostitution, solicitation are happening it's going to be on the owners first and then if gets into sex trafficking or running a brothel then the cops will come down. Until then you just have shitty bars in shitty parts of town with lack of oversight and dancers that will do anything for money.
