It's not as if these cases are going to end up in front of a jury. It will a bigger stick for the cops to threaten you with during the pleas discussions.

Before you panic, think this one through. What jury or probably even a judge, if it was tried that way, is going to convict a consenting adult for paying for sex with another consenting adult, and have it be a felony on their record? The court system can't handle the caseloads as it is, and as politically pleasing as this proposal is to certain elements in Jefferson City, I just don't see this as a high priority issue, even in an election year.
