Every lawyer says never consent to a search. I know I often go against conventional wisdom. This scenario is no exception.

Case in point: I was caught in a park with a streetwalker after hours in my vehicle. I was asked if I'd consent to a search. I had nothing to hide, so I did. Cooperating can save you a lot of trouble. Only do so when it seems to be in your best interest, though.
