Met this one tonight at "her" house. As far as I could tell, we were alone--no cars anywhere, no noise or TV, talking, etc. She took me upstairs and asked for the donation and (stupidly, but in my defense, knowing the risk) I gave her part of it. She said she left her cigarettes downstairs and left, which is when I started getting bad vibes. Sure enough, her "dude" came up, asked who I was and what I was doing in "his" house, etc. I just got up and left. No problems but their actions were obviously rehearsed.

I think this is the worst review of her I've ever seen, but I also don't think I've ever seen a good one. She's leveled up from simply being "not worth your time" to now being flat out "bad for business". While the abuse is sad and she's probably telling the truth, don't be the monger she turns to for help. Don't see her.

First, sorry it happened to you. It sucks but in my book this isn't so much a ripoff as it is a lesson in not advancing payments, paying deposits or trusting anything a provider tells you. I can well imagine that 90% of this board has done something similar in our mongering career but if we're smart, we only make that mistake once.

At this point in my mongering career, I am so jaded that I don't believe a single word the provider tells me much less take an action based on the veracity of what they say. It really comes down to this, we are in the hobby to get what we want and the providers will play along for the payday. But once the money is in hand, all bets are off. Buckle up, it's a lesson learned and your goal is to never let it happen again.

That's not what a bait-and-switch is. She didn't call you back so you posted 7 times about "getting scammed" and alledged that she was LE. Also, "selling content" is not illegal so the police is not going to use that to entrap people.

I suggest that before you post again, you read the boards, learn the terminology, and understand the etiquete of the hobby. If you're going to fly off the handle at the smallest slight, this is not for you. Get some ointment on that butthurt.
