Over a month ago a dancer told me the club was closing January 1 for a major remodel and would open back up mid March. On line FB shows a note from mgt thanking everyone for past 20 years and to visit the 3 other locations. Sounds more like a permanent closing than a remodel. I sure had some great times there. Will miss it.

Silk on Silver Spring, in the 2000's, was the place in Milwaukee. There was a ton of great talent there. Lolly Topps. That shot girl who was a total smoke show. Too many to name. OTB wasn't always as nice as it is now, and the previous iteration of Heart Breakers before its remodel and many different names was rough around the edges. Silk was the place. Always at least a couple hot blondes. Always at least a couple really busty girls. Always at least one or two hot Asians. It was a great mix at its best.

Good times, too. Made OTC work there once, though it wasn't nearly as fun as I'd hoped. When I first started clubbing, I was skinny enough that one of those Asians figured out she could reach over the top of my pants in the dance room to get a good tip in more ways than one. Fun was had.

It had really gone downhill post-pandemic, though. I think they made a point to push the best talent to the location near Grand Ave. , though I've never been terribly impressed with the few trips I've made. I don't like that location. I prefer mongering in private; it's too close to too many places where people I know outside the hobby might be on any given night.

On the one hand, I don't think we're missing much anymore. On the other hand, it's going to be weird not having Silk on Silver Spring as part of our scene anymore. It was pretty much the only reason I went to that part of town. Ever. Not anymore.

I don't want to be a shill for Encore but as a long time steady patron, I find it to be a fun relaxing place to stop for a few beers and entertainment. As with many smaller clubs, if you only visit 1-2 times a month, then you probably won't have a good time. Become a regular and you will find most of the ladies to be friendly and fun. Especially on the day shift. Yes, there are few beauty queens there but if you only want to view hot women, then go to Pornhub or Xvideo to see hot women. Yes, there are a few hustlers but they are easy to identify and if you ignore them, they will go away.

Here is my final plug for Encore. They open New Years Day at 1 PM. Stop in and relax for an hour or two.

I go there every once in a while. It's a dive bar with out of shape dancers. Like any strip club, the ladies are friendly and fun if you give them plenty of money. I'm pretty sure I'm the only guy there who's ever made it rain. It's really not special but it's a place I can go to drink in Milwaukee without fear of being shot.

No, I won't be at encore at 1 pm on a Monday. I'm not at the point yet where I'd visit a strip club at 1 pm on a Monday afternoon. I would rather do anything else.

They watch you like a hawk on the cameras. There is no hanky panky there. They get yelled at when they get too close to customers while on stage, too.

There is one prostitute working there now on skipthegames, then 2 former dancers are now prostitutes. Kittn aka freya and bonnie (super skinny gaunt blonde).

Then there's one that works there that goes on dates with guys but doesn't do anything but string them on for money and rides to places.

Also they take a photo of your I'd and keep it. I heard them talking about keeping it a few months ago. The bouncer was looking at all the old ones and making remarks a

I saw that Bonnie has a pole up in her place now. I did see a video of her on a pole at whatever club she worked at and she actualy can use it. I'm not sure what she charges for dances or anything. I have no idea what to expect. Am I going to get to suck some titties? Finger a girl? Is she going to whip junior out and make me bust a nut? Or is it going to be the same as a regular lap dance but just in a more secluded area?

The few girls that will even offer OTC nowadays are coming up with some ridiculous numbers.

I had a dancer offer OTC with the possibility of Greek in Vegas earlier this year for $900. $1 K? In Milwaukee? No thanks.

A bit of a rant but might clear things up.

The problem is the WG culture for the last few years has made the industry safe for girls who treat the work like Mcdonalds. The taboo is gone, and the wannabes are here. Plain Jane who's been gassed up and Mary Sue from not so humble beginnings are deciding to strip but both lack the actual hustle and tenacity involved. Its a vicious cycle but in return guys play close the chest with money because they arn't really getting anything and girls have to come up with the means by overpricing themselves out.

Go to OTB and yall see exactly that, girls sitting at the bar on their phone, there going to have to make the money up somehow. The owners don't care cause the moneys already made. These girls are a dime a dozen and not to mention the build-a-thot Latinas who have flooded the clubs, making things even worse. Most these girls can't even slide down a pole cause there weighing in as defensive lineman. The local clubs are more traditional but you will still find the new age problem.

Its a really issue with the entire SW scene but eventually these girls get old and will be pushed out by youngins who seem to be a lot more conservative, so things might return to normal.

The clubs in Vegas and Miami are still very traditional and alive but obviously that's a distants away.

Also girls saying its a risk and they might loose there income is total baloney. Yall hear it all, even had a girl say young men are broke and its why they don't come to the club. But then who's giving thousand of dollars to cam girls and OF. Young guys have figured it out, its not worth it to spend in your case 1 k for a pop when they could spend a bill on a cam girl and jack off for free. You could even spend that 1 k on a round trip flight to Vegas and still have plenty of money for fun. The flood of wannabe stippers has made the industry what it is and is likely why prices have stayed the same for the last 30 years with quality going down in return.

Even both silks downtown on water st. A hot bed for money are disasters. Why'all get more titillation by bar hopping.

Rooms are different at every club you'll visit, as it depends on the level of supervision.

In Milwaukee, there's only one club I know of where things can sometimes be gotten away with in rooms (I've never been to Encore). Otherwise, for the most part, rooms are just upsold dances in a more private area. The girl may have an extra dance trick or two up her sleeve, like a handstand or a better grind, but not the tricks you're hoping for.

Before doing a room in any club, anywhere, it's best to read up on others' experiences on boards like these. You get pretty good at picking up on which clubs let more go than others, even if everyone makes a point to be non-specific to protect the innocent (and not so innocent).

Just got back from otb. The talent is looking better there. Quite a few latinas. One had some great curves and a beautiful shave kitty. I got the old let's have some fun in back. I replied let's have some fun somewhere else. She asked how much? I said $$ and she replied at least 1 k. Told her that even higher priced professionals only charge 1/2 that. Long story short, take out is available here but at what cost.

I read somewhere, maybe on one of the other city boards here, that dancers don't see it as worth the risk -- the risk of getting fired, the risk of the customer doing something bad to them, all of it. Plus, if they're halfway decent at making money in the club, they don't want to risk losing that source of income.

I'm sometimes wonder if some of the only worthwhile talent is on SA or camming now.
