I just visited this place yesterday early afternoon.

Very, very similar to maybe Bobbys -.

There is a bar, decent food, tables, etc.

No pool table tho.

I was told that it is related to Gold Room.

Parking is better. Turn off of lake (to the north), follow the barricades, park on the west side of the building and walk around back to the east side of the building for the entrance.

They do need better signage.

It was nice. Definitely upscale from, say, the old Jays.

Girls hanging out, dressed in lingerie / fishnet stockings / etc.

Dances are $15, in the back.

Topless and pretty strict on hands below the waist.

If you were a regular at Bobbies / etc. , you will probably see some old friends.

One of the things I like about strip clubs is you don't have to be forward. The girls will come to you at some point, especially if you show interest by tipping the ones you like when they're on stage.

When I actually go out and try and run game on civvy girls at bars or clubs, it's always starting the process that's the problem for me. I've never been able to master being "Mr. Right Now;" I. E. The kind of guy who can land one-night stands. I think women who get to know me over time figure out I'm good boyfriend material, but I'm not trying to be anyone's boyfriend at this stage of the game. It's easier for me to get closer to what I want by paying for it at a club.

For taking the time to do this in the discussion. Go with the flow of the club and stay out of the way. Players only love you when they're playing as the song goes. Been there done that. I would like to have experiences like I had back in the day in today's day. Go to Industrial, Scores, Gold room, Carls, and All Stars and it is majority Cubans. HB is still mixed but is leaning towards majority Latinas.

I'm at Scores often enough to say there's at least a balance of different ethnicities. There's often two Romanians there on weekends, a blonde and a brunette. Go for the brunette and you'll have as good of an experience as you can have without extras. Polekatz is similar.

But yeah, there's fewer "good girls with a naughty side" types among the talent nowadays. I think a lot of those girls have gone to sugaring, unfortunately, which is an area I don't want to dabble in. Not so few that you can't find them, but ther are fewer than there were 20 years ago.

My fond memories of clubs is where the girl sat down, didn't push for drinks and just hung out. If the vibe was right we went back to the back room and it was mostly just feeling each other up.

Again, there's still some of that if you go after the right women in the club. Go for the older ones; they're often shapelier and more-intelligent, anyhow. I've never had anything happen to my car. Only time I was mildly threatened at a club, I deserved it. I was 21, it was my second time at a club and I thought the woman with the thick, fake accent was telling me to stick around and wait for her after the club closed. In reality, I had just misheard her and a bouncer "helped" me back to my car when I went back to the door to see if she was coming out. In the 20 years and hundreds of club trips in my life since, I haven't had that problem again.

But no, if you're nice, respectful and easy-going, you generally experience no drama. Maybe you see it from others now and then, but it's few and far between.

I haven't been in many years. Actually when I drove the big blue bus out of rosemont there is a route that goes right by hb. On those audition days girls would get off the blue line come downstairs and get on my bus. They would ask where touhy and elmhurst was and of course I knew they were auditioning and wasn't going to mention the place unless they sat close and wanted convo. Hope all is well by you. Mostly since the weather has been so good hitting the fleas both in melrose and back of the yards. My club days are behind me as well. I believe it's been almost 20 years since I was in scores or a little less. Girls were very aggressive. I was with a guy that worked for me in my business and he got us comped in and everything and paid for drinks. Not really a drinker on this end as such. He bought me some time in the private area. It was ok at best. Nothing special. Mostly they are euros these days. Big time accents. My fond memories of clubs is where the girl sat down, didn't push for drinks and just hung out. Even in clubs where some of the club rules get broken now and then, if it happens, it happens quietly. The stripper handshake is a signal usually happens largely out of sight, for instance.

Just saw an ad on Gold Room's Instagram story for a new club named Knockouts right across the street from Gold Room. Not where Allure / Mansion was / is. Other side of the street. Old brick building there now that's got signage up that it's a transmissions place.

I'm scratching my head a little. No indications of any changes to Gold Room. Why would you put another club right across the street from one you already own?

Different theme, sure, and it allows them to market to two different groups. Gold Room is more of a club atmosphere where they bring in DJs and do theme nights and whatnot. I assume Knockouts might be more for the crowd that likes to go for UFC and big boxing fights, though the story makes it clear they're hiring dancers. They say they'll do the $10 dollar night thing like Polekatz (also same owners) does.

But how much are you just taking away business from yourself?

The other thing is that's three clubs all within about two blocks of each other with Scores there, too. Part of me wondered with Gold Club if they've been trying to subtly push Scores out. Adding a second club over there makes me wonder if they're trying to water down the market there somehow.

Furthermore, I've thought the talent has dipped some at just about every Chicago club lately. Might just be my taste, but more clubs mean things will be even more watered down.

I'll check it out at some point, but I'm confused by the strategy.
