The bill ended up "dying" so it can't come up again until next year but wonder if LEO is trying to make big busts to make a point in support of regulating / cracking down harder on AMPs in the state.
Hopefully the reps who pushed the bill will get distracted by something else next year or focus on other bills.

Vaginal / anal partners are significantly more likely to be the source of the HPV transmission (per the CDC). HPV can be contracted just through skin to skin contact. It doesn't even need an open wound.
The demographic most at risk are men who engage in oral sex with other men, per NYU, but it is also disproportionately affecting younger folks (ages 13-16) and they are the people most at risk as the disease has time to become ingrained and harder to treat.
Treatment is successful 80-90% of the time, so fortunately, it is one of the more curable forms of the big C.
