Yeah that has happened to me a couple times. Anytime I try a new place when the girl asks me if I’ve been there before I always look at her with a hurt look on my face and say ‘you don’t remember me? I saw you last time. ’ This tactic has always relaxed the girl, even if they say they don’t ‘remember’ me, and a few times they will say ‘oh yeah I remember you, how is work, the family, etc. ’

If you go to a new place and mamasan asks if you've been there before, just tell her not for a while, or else tell her the names of places you have been to.
