I've had luck with younger providers at Lux. That said I wouldn't call Lux an "AMP" rather just an MP. That said I haven't heard enough to know if they survived the pandemic. They've been rather silent lately but may just be keeping a low profile.

Word on rubmaps was that they were going to close down due to some issue with the building owner (rent increase, or use of the space or what have you). They do still have those ads up on AS, but who knows. They could be old.

I am from so cal. Coos routinely setup stings of John's and girls. They also raid massage parlors from time to time.

I read that in San Francisco they basically do not enforce the rules abs massage parlors can run with little free of being raided.

Is this true st all? Just wondering if there was any real risk.

That's not inaccurate but its a little misleading. In the same way that the cops know most of these places exist, they come here and there like any other city but arent making suoer aggresive regular busts. largely its as risky as anywhere else.

I'm going to be staying in Union Square and I'll be using public transportation or Uber so I could get down to the apartment places I preferred to do something super close that I could walk to.

I don't necessarily need some twentysomething party but I would prefer someone in their 30's at the most and the military petite is important sometimes girls can be less attractive and what they like it looks they make a phone with him since he hasn't.

Empire? Meh. Not my scene. Mr. WardTerry, from Union Sq you are really not too far away from Mimi. From your post, I think you'd like her. The spa I mentioned in the subject, (aka just "Palace" I think) is across the street from Portsmouth Square park and public garage, in Chinatown. Seems open anytime. I have buzzed as late as 1 and gone in. And Mimi. Yeah, Mimi is a gorgeous Vietnamese girl who is in my opinion the only real head-turner I have seen in any walk-in massage joint outside of Vegas. I met her, luckily, just when I was about to give it up entirely with the grandma girls. She used to live here and I saw her on the regular. Then she moved away during most of the pandemic. She comes back to visit just for a week or two at a time lately. When she texts me to say "how are you?" I know what that means, I know where to go, and I go quickly.

Going to be in town next week and I was hoping my fellow mongers could point me in the right direction. I believe that place was called Sophia's Spa. Unfortunately, Sophia's and MBOT closed down. Sophia's closed down at many years ago, the building was torn down and replaced with housing (of course). MBOT recently closed down last October. Incidentally, I drove by yesterday. If my memory is correct, Sophia's was a victim of Black Tuesday (or was it Black Thursday) a massive LE operation that busted most of the AMPs in San Francisco. I think it was officially called Operation Gilded Cage. The SF AMP scene was never the same after that. Gone were places like King's, Dragon, Goldfinger, Lee's, Golden Flower, Suk Hee, etc.

Thank you for the link to the newspaper article. It was a fascinating story. In the 90's, I used to stay at one of the hotels in South San Francisco near SFO and Candlestick. After rush hour had subsided, it was about a 20-minute drive into downtown. In the evening, you could park on the street in metered spaces for free. Back then, I recall that the majority of customers at MBOT were Japanese businessmen.

Many years ago (probably mid-to-late 90s), I used to regularly visit your fair city on business. I would do my evening cultural events at either MBOT or Century. After being sufficiently warmed up, I would visit an AMP that was a couple of blocks away on Geary right before Van Ness. It was in a two-story building surrounded by taller buildings. The entrance was right next to an adult book / video store. The video store was on the 1st floor and the AMP was on the second floor. A couple of the rooms were really large and had some sort of Asian window seats in the wall. The service was outstanding and the technicians were young and very skilled.

I remember going there one evening after MBOT. It must have been close to quitting time. After my session, my provider asked me if I wanted to stay for pizza. I must have responded affirmatively because she led me to a large parlor in the back of the AMP which must have been a lounge for the girls between sessions or just a place to chill. Within a few minutes, probably 20 other AMP girls showed up. My provider explained that a lot of girls from other AMPs congregated there after closing time just to chill. I was the only guy in a room filled with 20+ AMP girls. I was ready to get naked, lay on the floor, and say "Take me!" Alas, no adult activities occurred, but it was quite an experience.
