There has never been another Hazel with the queer (her works) dog. Girls were always great. As I remember, the fare was not too high.

I spent many afternoons there, having a drink with her. I used to kid her and tell her I wanted her.

That was some good reading. Had no idea of the history back then with Hazel. This should be made into a movie with all the twists.

Got laid there 3-4 times a month in the early eighties. I seem to remember that very few of the ladies used protection, and I "bumped" into a couple of gals who I later on saw working at Mouse's Ear. I remember going by late on Saturday nights, sit on the sofa having a cola, and waiting on Hazel to nod off so that I could work out my own deal with one of the ladies. (off the books.) I unfortunately never got to enjoy Brenda's or Brown House. I knew Brenda's daughter and she offered me the chance to go there for a freebie, but I was young, dumb and too shy for my my own good. Fuck. It is depressing to think of all the missed opportunities just because I was awkward and shy. 😢.

AFAIK, that little cluster of entertainment options was shuttered eons ago for a variety of reasons.

I would really love it if someone showed me I am incorrect on that. Certainly enjoyed myself there on multiple occasions like 25 years ago.
