What's with every girl asking for a deposit on cashapp? Is this legit. What keeps them from taking your deposit and never showing up?

I am not one to pay in the higher end of the range so I can't speak to the agencies and high priced escorts where I see ads mentioning deposits. But if you are referencing Skip the Games, I can tell you its 100% a scam. One of the more sophisticated scams begin with the provider asking you what city you are in? Surprise, surprise, they are always in a near by city and want you to schedule an appointment secured by a deposit. I have heard (but never experienced) that after you get an address and a time, they hit you up for a second deposit to come on over but in case you haven't figured out, they are not even there. As for the other STG advertisers asking for a deposit, they might be real (my guess is over half of them are men looking to make money) but its an easy way to raise cash. If they get 200 responses to their ad and only 10% of the foolish mongers send just a modest $20 deposit, that's a $400 day and a much better option than getting down on their knees and actually servicing 5 mongers.

If you are fishing in STG's waters, a simple rule of thumb is to never send money. If enough of us to do that, they will eventually give up.

I think deposits are more common with high end escorts and that would likely be Ok because they have a business and reputation to protect. I'd never give a Skip girl money upfront. Almost all are junkies and most have handlers. I'm always nice to the girls I've seen and treat them like people but I never fully trust them. In the same way if you buy content from a Skip girl or see them expect them to hit you up for cash. A paying client is gold and a ATM.

Of course it's a scam. They do it because too many guys are dumb enough to do it. Never send a deposit even if it's someone you have seen before. When I see dudes post that they were ripped off when sending a deposit I have zero sympathy because what did they expect? There is no customer service number to call. They probably aren't going to call the cops. They walked right into it without using any common sense.
