Over the past many weeks I've been weening myself of off Akron's "gentlemen" scene and just hanging out at the pubs and bars in Kent. I'm not creeping on KSU chicks but the "normal" townies and this weekend was no exceptions. During my hiatus, I have had good drinks, good food, chatting to random strangers and have even gotten a few numbers and other things.

Regardless. Friday I did my thing then thought I should ping Jen's.

I remember when Jen's was great and I am hoping someday it will be great again. When I pulled into the parking lot, they have a sign out front stating "no cover charge". That's a big FU to Dreamers / Boom Boom so that's a plus in my book.

Long story short. $6 beer (typical Jen's) less then 5 customers and about the same amount of girls and the "ladies" weren't anything to write home about.
