The very few possibles I've seen in the Leary Way area were all awful-looking and dirty. I spotted one gal in a tight minidress but when she got closer her face was dirty and she had bruises on her legs. Then she veered for the trashcan and rummaged through it. I did see two fairly-attractive girls come out of a tent, both were dressed well and wearing make-up, but at that point I just wasn't interested. And who knows if they were working, could have been social workers or medical staff for all I knew. Anyone coming-out of one of those awful tarp tents or rusty trailers is just unsavory to me. I think those who are nearing their last rung on the ladder are down in the Ballard area.

Woof, good to know. As miserable as the AA scene is right now, it seems to be the only scene in town.

For SPD to run a sting around there seems like a waste of money, I never really saw any other guys cruising for chicks down there and rarely came across any SWs.

Perhaps that's why they were so eager to arrest that young kid. Had to justify their salaries somehow.

I still work in that area, albeit at a different, much better job. I've never seen a single SW in Georgetown and the handful of escort ads for that area are either fake or scams. Some people have mentioned seeing SWs in White Center, but I've never encountered it (despite trying many times myself). The game on AA is just crap these days. Street Troller, do you still visit that stretch of Leary Way near Fred Meyer? I've read rumors on here and I'm curious how it's been.

One of the providers I was seeing for a while was on TNA. Can't recall her name, but tall, Latina with nice body. Fantastic all-around experience which kept me coming back. The other was someone I found on Backpage, she moved between the La Hacienda and the Star motels which were a few blocks apart. I saw her a few times. Generally not much actively around the Star whenever I drove through, though. For SPD to run a sting around there seems like a waste of money, I never really saw any other guys cruising for chicks down there and rarely came across any SWs. I've only had one other provider who I met via Backpage who was also at the La Hacienda, but she didn't show when I arrived.

Back in 2014, I commuted to and from a crappy delivery job in Georgetown. I used to catch the bus right in front of the Star Motel, at 4th Ave and S Bennett. On one occasion, there was a staggeringly beautiful woman in a form-fitting dress walking right out into the middle of northbound traffic during the afternoon rush hour, making cartoonishly bold eye contact with every driver and trying desperately to get picked up. Despite some near collisions, nobody pulled over. However, a young man waiting beside me at the bus stop decided he'd give it a go. He sauntered over (rather confidently, I might add, for a guy taking the bus) and exchanged a few obviously flirtatious words, although it was out of my earshot. Shortly thereafter, the bus arrived; the young man bid the woman adieu and boarded the bus behind me. Seconds later, as I was taking a seat and before the bus had even closed its doors, no fewer than four police cruisers swarmed around the bus to prevent it from departing: two cruisers in front, one behind, and one parked in the lane of traffic off the left side. At least six fully uniformed police officers jumped onto the bus and arrested the young man, hauling him out without objection or resistance. They departed and the bus resumed its route. The entire exchange took less than five minutes.

Leave it to the SPD to obstruct traffic with a faux-SW and then arrest a young kid who hadn't committed any crime. Jesus, that event scared the hell out of me. At least they sprung for the super hot decoy.

Honestly MOST of the SWs I saw around any of those three areas looked as though they were very near death. I've only made a couple of pickups around there and each girl was out of her mind. One was a nice BSW, very clean, nice face. Once she got in she was a complete loony and I had one hell of a time getting her out of the vehicle. I was newer to the scene then and pretty much tried anyone who looked decent. I stopped screwing around with that area after those experiences.

Another time I pulled-up to the 24-hour Subway on 4th Ave late at night. A very nasty-looking SW came out of the darkness and tried getting in. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "trying to get a date". I told her I wasn't looking for a date and she said, "then why did you flash your lights at me?" (I didn't, merely pulled-in and parked). She ranted for a bit, then walked in front of the vehicle, turned around, pulled her pants down and slapped at her heavily-scarred and bruised ass cheeks and said, "kiss on this!".

That sounds like the Triple AAA stroll. Across 99 on the other side was the Denny Park Stroll. I think the people who set-up the table and served drinks to SWs were the church groups who would go down there and talk to to the girls. That was the place to go until roughly about 2012 when Amazon began construction in that area.

What a show that was! Glory days for sure.

I lived on Beacon Hill for many years. It used to be a small-time stroll, meaning that it was inconsistent but girls could be found there. Farther up near Rainier and into the Central District and International District one could find SWs as well. Usually low-quality, but I made some pick-ups there a looong time ago. Also down over the hill into SoDo and Georgetown one could find occasional SWs. Again, not very consistent, but they were there. If I was going to hobby in Portland, I would have looked for some massage parlor or something.

When I was young, we would drive to Chinatown Portland, thinking there would be SWs there. Never saw any. I think it's by Sandy Blvd, near the Moda Center, where you would have to look.

Driving to Troutdale, I saw a SW on Stark and 21000 Block! She looked Latina or Pacific Islander. Kind of overweight, mid to late 20's. All by herself in that area.

For those familiar with the Portland SW scene, I wouldn't think that is a stroll?

I went on 14th late one Saturday night. I saw a white lady with curly brown hair standing on the sidewalk. As I drove by, she looked right at me. I looked back at her in disbelief. No, she wasn't hot. Looked late 30's early 40's, and not attractive.

I used to live in that area.

Less than a year later, I crossed 14th farther South, driving West on College Street. On the Northeast corner was a white brown haired SW, who looked late 40's early 50's.

I guess, maybe they have a stroll there.

Does anybody remember this:

North of the entrance to the Battery Street Tunnel, and to the West of AA, there was a stroll. A couple of hotels, I think a Holiday Inn and Best Western. If you remember Skoochies skating rink, it was in that area.

On Friday and Saturday nights, on a side street, these men, likely pimps, set up a table, where I saw water kettles and cups. Were they just handing those out to the SWs and Johns?

That location was part of my cruise for years. From the beginning of the bridge up past the park until the arterial ends. I picked up many people right at the corner before you make the right turn to the park. We'd simply go to the parking lot at the park or (before they started locking the bathroom at night) go in the bathroom and get the job done. I quit checking it about 5 years ago, because it had been like 2 to 3 years and I no longer saw anyone there. I'm still assuming a lot of action still happens at the park. I've done a few SBs there while we looked out over the city.
