So a few years ago we had a close relative die, and our family had to sort through all her personal effects, dating from the 1950's up until she died. She had lived in the Chicago area for many decades, and among her things was a newsletter from November 1983 that was about "nightlife in Chicago" or something like that.

I recall some of these have been discussed before (such as the Towne Revue), but figured I'd post the whole list as it's all in good fun as well as a neat historical snapshot of the lay of the land four decades ago. (This was before my time as a monger.).
