Thanks for all the replies. Turns out if I waited long enough the would relent with just the usual info. Maybe a reference came through that didn't initially. Feel the pain for new mongers trying to get verified. I just don't like the idea of my info being out there and me relying on their K info sec to keep in safe, but I totally get it being a trust thing and having skin in the game. Maybe that's where I draw my line although I do use P411 for non-K hobbying.

I wouldn't trust them at all to handle any bit of info with care. All it takes is one mistake for this phone to end up in the wrong hands.

My perspective on this is that the bookers / orgs are going to these lengths to make sure clients are not LE. If you're not willing to risk your personal info, that's up to you. I've never been asked for this, but if I was, I'd send a DL with the personal info blurred out (like the DL number, address, last name) and a selfie. Just because someone has your personal info and your pic doesn't prove anything. There's so much personal data out there if you do anything on the internet you can just claim someone stole your info and feign ignorance. It's not like the orgs are going to resort to anything crazy like blackmail or anything like that, that would completely destroy their credibility and business. Its a two way street. Bookers need to trust you and you need to trust bookers, otherwise the hobby just wouldn't work.

They can still find you by scanning your pic on the dmv data base even if you blur out or cover your info!

What do you guys think of giving a new booker more details after the usual age, race, two references, etc? I'm in with M, J, Palace, Tom, Sunny, most places, but after giving up two recent refs from J and M, one asked me for DL license photo and another for a selfie. Those are no go on my part. I don't want any personal info on booker phones. What do you guys think? Is that too paranoid?

I saw a sting where LE nabbed providers who asked only for DL. I can photoshop a fake DL and make selfie looks handsome. It doesn't prove you are not LE or a safe customer. It may make some people think twice about doing something bad to a girl though.

Many years ago in Dntwn LA you could get fake dl and it looked just like a regular one. It was in a small mexican shop and man I wish they we're still there.

I'm sure they're are many more places like this in the area. Many of them are in mexican newpapers and would have to walk the streets asking.

Mixed emotions on this one. If you don't have a wife / family, then you have less to risk. If you already have established credentials with certain agencies, then you should be fine. If the references are not enough at a new place, then you might want to stay where you are already known.

I noticed that MilkAndHoney on HX requires photo I'd, selfie, etc. Now. In the past, they did not require this type of documents.

I think new mongers will have a difficult time but it is good for safety purpose.
