Having a hard time letting go. Called and a lady answered. Got my hopes up but she said Happiness closed. I'm having withdrawals like when Kison closed. Depressing.

Posts: 528Doubt they'll ever re-open. Since Connie (formerly Happiness) is now at Osaka, I'm sure she brought some of those services over to her new location.

All documented and reported in the news. Not that long ago maybe 2-3 years.

Drove by happiness today, I'd say not only are they closed, but they're completely vacated. All the windows have the tint removed, you can see into the kitchen area, and it looks completely emptied out. I know they've been closed for a while, but now it looks officially gone, completely vacated. Sad days, LOL.

GoGo actually got elevated to trafficking, bribery and extortion in association with the other AMP that got busted for trafficking. Dark dark time for AMPs.
Included Empire.

A while back a worker at kison who was from the mainland told me that she paid 50 per day for room and board. Probably, all workers had to kick back something to work there, or did they work there for free and keep all tips for themselves?
Are AMP rent estimates too high? Some of the locations are really bad. Happiness has no parking. Many are or were in old buildings. Nirvana, osaka, happiness too. Roses was a shoe box. The only future use of those locations that I can think of is as rooming houses. They already have bedrooms, communal kitchens, and bathrooms.
The biz seems to be moving into apartments. Which means fewer workers with increased chance of guys walking out without paying, robbery or worse. At larger AMP there is safety in numbers.
I sympathize with the workers. They are in a dangerous, illegal biz. They get disrespected by the general public. But they take care of rog's needs and earn their tips and rog's affection.

Two mama costs 3-400 USD a day. 10 k a month.
Labor 10 k.
Rental 10 k.
Utilities-etc 10 k.
If one AMP have 20 customers a day. 1 k earning a day.
Then owner get nothing. No debt though.
Can any place afford 20 men coming and going when they hesitate ads and new customers and walk in? When they know neighbors are watching them cautiously and many (who had not care about sin unit before) got nervous owing to virus.
I know one towing company reported one AMP cause suspicious cars parked in parking lot when all lights off and all doors were supposed to be shut.

Posts: 322Not to mention utilities. Talked to one owner and she said the air conditioning bill alone is $2,000 per month, not including the $10,000 she pays in rent. Yikes!
