This isn't from me but the Indian guy at the liquor store I go to told me this. It might be different at MGII but the Electric Blue is almost back to operating it's regular ways. You still can go to the stage and throw bills he said. They also allow lap dances. But you have to pay $100 to the house just to get into the lap dance room. And then on top of that it's whatever the girl wants to charge. He said one girl was charging he $500! He goes, "No. You're no Pamela Anderson. " I was like nice Baywatch reference. Another girl charged $300 and the last one charged $100. I think you can figure out which one he went with. I asked him was that $100 for just one dance!? He said, no he was back there for like 30 minutes. I think he's exaggerating he was probably back there for 3 songs tops.
Customers came into the store after me so I couldn't ask about the whole mask situation and cover charges. But it's an update for everyone.

Similar to other bars, you have to buy food. They put up plexiglass shields at the bar and around the dance stage. When I was there there were no dancers on stage, but they are expected in the evening. A couple ladies in street clothes sitting with guys at the bar. You have to wear a mask unless seated. Better than nothing.

I went to Mardi Gras 2 tonight, there is a good size crowd there and a nice mix of dancers. The problem is I have to wait about 15 minutes at the door to get a seat, most the girls are with regulars they know. In about 40 minutes the only girl I had come up was not working that night and trying to sell me the CD she made for $10. I saw a girl on stage I liked and she did a lot of pole work and that's something I like. I tipped her well for her dancing and she asked if I wanted her to come over after and I told her yes. They have the girl up on stage for about 40 minutes and I liked watching her at first but after 20 minutes I was as bored as she was. She then got off the stage and went into the changing room. I waited for about 10 minutes and got up and left. The only good thing is they never charged me for the food / beer / or cover charge.

I tried MGII again on Thu Aug 7. There were several girls working but they were really just sitting and talking to other guys. I get the impression that some guys have become "Covid regulars" who have been coming in since the restart so have built up a level of trust of being uninfected with the new regular girls. Of course they are following all the rules: you have to be seated by the bartender or hostess. You have to order food. No contact. Masks on unless seated. I was seated at the far end, near the closed off LD area, with no one at all nearby. Got a drink and met one young lady, Nova, who introduced herself but then just wandered off as I was about to offer her a seat. Disappointing.
My 2 is that we have to support these businesses but right now attending them sucks. I dropped $10 on a seltzer water and left.
Honestly I just go into the MGII to see if my old favorite dancers are back so I can tip them out for old times sake. So far I haven't seen any. God do I miss Elektra and Shayla. Shayla please come back. I love that woman.
Good luck guys. Stay safe.

I went yesterday just before 5 PM. There were three dancers and maybe a dozen patrons. Seating is much reduced and spread out. No seats at the bar. All service (drinks / food) are delivered by staff, you can't go get it. They are open as a restaurant so ordering food is a requirement if you are there for any length of time. The girls dance but obviously there is zero contact, no seating at the dance floor, no LD area, no VIP, no foolin'. It was nice to see scantily clad beauties again but none of the ladies I stan for were there. It is what it is, basically Hooters. But hey that's Covid times.
I'll go back when one of my favs is there. I hope they return to their policy of posting their roster on the FB page.

Any locals know if MGII rules also apply to EB?
Wondering if EB will also have a 'soft opening'. A G00 gle search only told me about their updating the I84 billboard to something less risque, their marketing manager is easy to look at, LOL.

MGII posted on their Facebook page they are having a "soft opening" tomorrow. They will be open for "indoor dining" from 3 PM to 11 PM Wed through Sat. I'm not 100% sure what they mean but I think the language is probably a signal to any LEO that they intend to comply with the reopening regulations. I will try to check it out and report back.
