I am aware that I have been doing a lot of educating lately and not much contributing. Current events and health issues have strangled the finances. I did encounter Ada in the Pulaski-Grand area. If you read a couple of pages here, you'll get a pretty good sense of where to look. So far as prices, they tend to vary by area and quality of the girls. On Fifth between Cicero and Kostner, I wouldn't pay more than $20 for a basic BJ. Chances are on North Cicero, they will want $40. On Fifth, they are more likely to do it bareback, but want $40. On North Cicero, they might want $60 for bareback. For anything more than BJ, girls are asking for the moon. $100 is not out of the question for half-and-half or FS. I'm not suggesting you pay that- be ready to negotiate. Other guys might give you different figures, but I think I'm in the ballpark. By the way, if you read recent posts here, you'll find most would advise you to avoid certain areas if not familiar with the city. The Fifth Avenue I mentioned is one.

I zoom in on gps on 5th ave an 900 Cicero. 5th off Cicero, just before railroad viaduct overhead. You turn bfore viaduct on Cicero on 5th. That where most SW activity. Is? Cicero an some on 5th? Never been there but I thinking it found different areas. 5th ave off Cicero. Follow it on gps. Looking at scenery, looks pretty dark an dangerous at night I thinking, looks like go Garfield park after long way an off side is all streets with old apts. You make good points. With or without girls, 5th and Cicero to 5th and Kostner is a high crime area. So, yes, you will definitely see LEO. And investing early in a particular area when it is still down for next to nothing, becoming a diamond in the rough with upgrades on your building and then hopefully catching the trend at the right time. When I bought in the west loop most all of the really sweet deals were gone and this was in 07. Then the bottom dropped out and now it came back and is climbing. Uk village became the next west loop. Regarding humboldt a former customer of mine that was also in real estate at the time when I bought my loft down in the west loop actually did just that in humboldt. Unfortunately he lost it eventually because the trend did not hit quick enough to keep his bankers happy. So yea if one can second guess a particular area and has the cash and stamina to hunker down in a not so good area sometimes the gamble can pay off. When I go through west loop now on my scooter to the big post office they are doing nothing but building and building and pricing is going up and up. I no longer wanted to hold on so really for me it became a break even deal. Also remember that if you move into a hot area the lifestyle comes with it so you spend and spend and spend because you want to be out and on those streets! I have friends in real estate and the new Humboldt Park investment is EGP. East Garfield Park is being bought up by investors.

I just happened to be driving thru the area around 5:00 pm Tuesday night. I saw Amanda who is a WSW walking on Cicero going north by 50th.
