I made a stop at Brad's today. I'm finding strip clubs are just no fun now. Most clubs are doing socially distanced lap dances. At the same time, the quality of the girls seems to have dropped. To make up for lack of physical contact, the girls need to look better but they don't. Brad's was selling lap dances for fifteen dollars today instead of the usual twenty but I don't think I saw anyone going back to do any in the two hours I was there. There were several girls sitting and talking to guys. Do they get money for that or is Brad's now just a hang out place where the strippers sit around talking to their male friends? There were very few stage tips too. This doesn't seem like a viable long term business model for local strip clubs as I can see the numbers of customers slowly dwindling as they realize what is being offered now isn't worth it. If we don't go back to normal soon the clubs will need to try to think of something they can offer at a price customers are willing to pay. Just dropping the standard lap dance price a few bucks isn't going to cut it.

Ventured out to some clubs this weekend, and had some experiences that would make other more productive.

Silk the show club: This club is closed, as in entirely shutdown. Might be due to some gang related activity, I drove to the side of the parking lot and saw huge signs that said almost verbatim "we will shoot if you come closer we aren't fucking around" very strange. Stay away, the club won't be missed.

Boss Lady's Cabaret: The front door was locked and there were no cars in the parking lot when they were supposed to be open. So not sure if they're open either LOL.

Not sure what time you did this scouting and I may be showing bias, but given Mr Popular's description of an ethnic opening weekend I opening hours might be much much later then 9 pm. Thanks for the info. I'll be curious about Boss Lady's Caberet.

Just got notified by a friend a new club is opening up Friday, called Boss Lady's Cabaret at 2718 Madison Ave. Will be a mixed club, though the owners are ex dancers and worked at Pure Passion and others. Also, the opening night live music and video guests are decidedly ethnic, so this old honky will pass this weekend. But this is a big positive development I think.

Stepped into a club last Friday at maybe 8 pm to see what was happening. About 15 cars in the lot, so you tell me how busy it was. They took my temperature and my $10 at the door before I could see nothing but men sitting around. Only 4 girls there and they were either sitting with dottering old moneybags or anyone who buys them liquor (No offense to dottering old moneybags, I'm one of 'them).

Upside was they let the waitresses do dances at the regular price (it's usually double) and I had to knock something off my bucket list. I spent entirely too much time and money on a super hot, super sweet waitress there that proclaims she really doesn't know how to do a lap dance. My eye. She knew her way around a man, invited me to everything without resistance or worry. It was incredible what she could do and did in the back couch. I put myself back together and gulped down my drink and left, as she was taking another guys order she grabbed my ass as I passed by. And it's a good thing they didn't take my temp on the way out or they'd hospitalize me in no time.

As is my new custom, I don't publicly report names or descriptions anymore not because it didn't happen, but because some members will gleefully report, white knight, out and get a member and employee banned just because it's fun.

Ahh yes, the forbidden fruit of the hot waitress stepping over the line. Most have been in the game for longer than a minute on both sides of the tip rail, but it certainly adds some spice!

These three clubs are owned by the same person. The Babes Facebook page said they will only open when they can do so at full capacity. That was supposed to be the July 4th weekend but has been pushed forward a couple weeks by the state governor. I haven't been to Sunset but a dancer at the Pony said they reopened but are thinking of closing again. I plan to check out the Red Garter downtown and Silk next weekend to see if they have reopened.

Club Paradise is also open, had a grand old time there yesterday!

As mentioned before, COVID makes it hard to venture out, but I've had some experiences others may find valuable.

Club Rio: Seems to be the only viable option now, the girls dance for you and are willing to bend basically any rule provided you have enough cash. The bartenders and doorman are kind. Most people are wearing masks. It's probably the safest option.

Pure Passion East: Charged me 20 $ to get in because it was late? I got a dance with the girl on the left https://www.facebook.com/PurePassion...type=3&theater . She was 10000% worth it, great dancer. I went a second time and the dancers were quite rude for some reason, I was one of the only people wearing a mask. Maybe they were offended? I didn't have as good a time, but I got a dance with another girl that went well that I can't find on their facebook. On this second attempt one girl said "how much money you got for me" which, if you don't know is the clearest sign that they only care about themselves and will give you bad service the second they get what they want. So I avoided her, she had a huge ass though. One thing to note is that if you haven't been to a black club before, they can have a lot of undesirable attitude problems especially if you don't look like a thug, men of which they have the upmost respect and admiration for. If you find yourself dancing with a girl rattling off a bunch of rules or saying she's not that kind of girls you have two options 1. End the dance, and find another girl 2. Tell her you will tip both will work and you will leave happy if that's your goal. I prefer option 1, but I've used option 2 on occasion.

Night Moves (Bloomington): They actually just shut down their private dance area, so the club is useless now. But it wasn't bad when it was open. Many of the girls really don't know what they are doing here, Camille, Tia, and Tessa are one's I'd recommend.
