I have noticed this automatic flagging with many websites. I believe they save your IP address and auto flag anything that comes from you. I've noticed them banning IP addresses or mei numbers from cell phones. I went to make a fake Facebook recently and they wouldn't let me no matter what name and email combo I tried. The names and emails were matching too. But, the second I hit register it would bring me to a screen which says your account is blocked because it doesn't go along with the guidelines of Facebook. I was also trying to make a new account on this dumb hook up app. Every time I hit register it does the same thing and brings me to a new registration page. If I hit login and type in the login info I just hit register on it says "login info banned. " I then tried downloading a virtual private network app on my iPhone. This did allow me to register a new account on the dating app website. But very soon after within 10 minutes they banned the account.

I've heard websites can automatically ban accounts based on the ZIP Code of the registered user, the email address and name not matching, and similar passwords being used to attempt to create new accounts. I'm not sure if this is a result of fake accounts on social media from the last election. And now with the new one coming they're trying to crack down on all that. Either way it feels a bit restrictive. I have forever been used to making as many email addresses as I want and the same with accounts on websites.

I believe craigslist is using the same tracking methods as the rest. You may want to try posting an ad from your laptop on public Wi-Fi. If you're really desperate LOL. You may be able to get around the hook they already have in your IP address now.

Never had much luck with Doublelist. I really thought those CLCE posts would have found another home by now.
