I have been studying the site for a while. One of the first things that made me suspicious was how a girl 'favorited' me. But when I pull up their profile it plainly says that person has never viewed my profile.

On seeking.com it is quite easy to favorite a profile without viewing it. When scrolling through the list of profiles on your smartphone, you will notice an empty heart on the right of each profile. If you touch the heart, it will turn red. And you have just favorited the profile without opening it.

So, desperate females and / or scammers can scroll through the profile list touching each heart and quickly favorite hundreds of guys' profiles without viewing any. You can check (as you did) the viewing status on the activity tab.

Hope this provides some insight to how the site works and aid us in protecting ourselves.

This is also how "Findom" and "500 per meet with no sex" started. Some co-ed was bragging (truthfully or not) about how she made money with pictures of her feet, or financially dominating some poor sap or $500 per meet with no sex and all these gals send out the bait. It will last until they get tired of either not being contacted or until enough guys tell them it's not reality (I mean I am sure some guys enjoy all 3 of those things but there isn't a market for it like they think).
