Can anyone confirm that non-essential travel is banned going into TJ right now? I just read off the sister site that someone was denied entry. Medical emergencies only.

Just got a confirmation that the police are enforcing lockdown & the curfew. This info is from a friend that lives in the Zona. Going to the Zona makes you a easy target for the police. There was also a article that said that a lot of working running out of money because the crisis. Supposedly many of the girls are homeless now. Was down in TJ about 2 weeks ago. Just glad that I went to TJ before the lockdown.

I find the Hotel Cascadas wifi comes in and out when in the club. If you don't have the password, ask one of the front desk people next time you're there. But yes, generally it's not available in the club.

TJ is now requiring non-essential businesses to shutdown. Hong Kong just announced that they are closing as well. Also heard from a friend that works in the zona that there has not been many SG's & SW's around lately. , So it looks as though there not be much fun in TJ & SD for awhile.

I heeded the warnings here about locking down price before going arriba and that saved me from a bad time once, but I took a nice enhanced chica upstairs and her performance was a real fakeout. She was very touchy in the club but upstairs was a let down. The entire way up to the room everyone has their palms out for a tip. The back bar area of HK is the best part imo. I stayed for a while, it got decently packed but I could tell not like usual. The club did have alot of hand sanitizer around the stages.

Adalitas was great! One floor setup with a central stage. It's less gringo centric but better service, less hassle from meseros. The chicas skew thicker for sure but plenty of variety was there too. I noticed more nationalities as well. No entry fee at night unlike HK. Every chica I interacted with seemed like they were having fun at work vs being stuck at work if that makes sense. Tips to the room crew allowed much more additional time.

Really wish I could have gone to Chicago but I was spent. Checked out the taco stand and each corner of the block and there were tons of people out and about. Hats off to you TJ vets.

Yupe the Hong Kong bar is a clip joint. I always had way better service at the adelita bar. You can try out the other bars in the zona. Does not hurt to look.

I agree what HK is overrated, especially on a Saturday night, you should understand that this is not a normal time. Lots of guys think that the meseros and chicas in Adelita Bar are much more aggressive and sharky. If your experience was different, that may be a function of the day of the week or the general atmosphere with the virus all around.

Personally, I agree that on a Saturday night Hong Kong is not the place to be. Too crowded and the mood is just not conducive to a good time. I prefer Chicago or Adelita on a weekend.

It could be that they hound you BECAUSE you tip like crazy. If your tip to the taxi driver was an indication of how you tipped the meseros, of course they would all be trying to get a piece of that.

This is my report from the other board for March 18:

Alright folks I made it back alive, so far symptom free. I will however not be going back. Now, you may ask why I went in the first place. Well I had pesos to get rid of although technically I could have had them converted back to dollars at a exchange house. Also, I wanted to grab my last run of dick pills. Walking through Mexico's border gate was a ghost town. I was literally the only person walking through there. It felt like a scene in a movie. It was around 6:30 pm. I went straight to a pharmacy for the pills first. Then I went to HK's car station area and there were no cars parked outside like there usually are. I saw someone sitting inside so I said what's up man, have they shut you guys down yet or what? He laughed and said nah man we are always open 24/7 365 do you need a ride? So I laughed and said yeah man against my better judgment I guess. So he called someone to drive over. I ended up waiting around 10 minutes for the car. So I started picking the guys brain about everything going on and asked him, seriously what are you guys going to do if you get shut down? He said what else are we going to do, we're all fucked! LOL he said HK is "protected" in certain way and I knew what he meant by that. But even still, if they shut the border down they're truly fucked. So when the car got there it ended up being the limo as if I didn't already feel like a douche for being in Mexico in the first place there I am in a global pandemic rolling around the streets of Tijuana in a stretch limo. Gave the guy a couple bucks for the ride. I was afraid I was going to be the only dumb asshole in there when I walked in, thinking I would feel like walking straight out of that were the case. However that was not the case. I tried to get a head count of the girls. I counted approximately about 30-35. At this point it was 7:00 pm. There were probably the same amount of guys and surprisingly several civilian girls. More than 5 but less than 10. This surprised me. Guys are expected to think with their dicks but gals are expected to be more rational but yet there they were with no fucks given, living it up having a good time. The limo driver had given me a free beer voucher so I grabbed one and made a couple rounds looking for some of my favorite chicks. They were nowhere to be found. I sat down for about half hour waiting for someone familiar to appear but nobody was. I mean there were girls that I see there often but none that I've vetted. By this time it was around 7:30 and I told myself if by 8 there still isn't anyone I know I'm just going to head back home. By the way I parked in front of Ross, across the street from the Nike store. I never pay for parking. I always park at the outlets and never been towed. Usually I park on the outlet side amidst the sea of cars but seeing as most stores have shut down, the parking lot was empty. On the Ross side there were plenty of cars as they are open until 8 pm nowadays.

I thought of checking out the street scene but then decided against it seeing as how the street chicks are highly more exposed to germs since they're in an alley all day & night amongst all the mongers, homeless and cars. So there I was in HK and although there were several girls and customers it still felt weird because I was there just last Wednesday and it was probably 3 times more full. I ended up in conversation with one of the gals getting her thoughts on everything and she basically told me she thinks corona virus is a hoax and that it's simply a flu more or less. I didn't argue with her, just shook my head as if she was making sense LOL. So I'm looking at my watch thinking it might be time to leave when out of nowhere one of my favorite girls, Daya, appeared. She has long brown hair and the body of a girl you see in rap videos. Very affectionate, playful and can carry a conversation. I hadn't seen her since December when she left on vacation. She walked up to the bar and was getting herself a drink. Perfect, now I didn't have to buy her one. She sat down in a booth and as soon as she did I walked over and sat with her. We talked about how she had been away for a while. I started picking her brain about corona virus and she basically told me the same thing the other girl told me. If you ask me HK management has instructed the gals to tell customers not to worry and this will all blow over soon. She told me the governments around the world just want to control people and their way of doing it is to instill fear. Again, I didn't argue seeing as there's no point in rationing this out with them. Anyway, we finished our drinks and headed upstairs and proceeded to have a good time. I thought maybe she'the hold back more than usual but she was just as affectionate as ever. We headed back down and I went to the bathroom and I could hear the DJ announcement HK will never shut down and that by hook or crook they are a 24/7 365 establishment LOL. I was hoping to run into Ruth, a nice, slim, pretty girl on the younger side but I never saw her. If one of you happen to see her please try to get her number. For some reason I headed out the back way into the street and there were the same amount of chicas out on the street, even more than usual. I saw plenty of new "talent" on the street. A lot of cute, pretty girls. At first it came as a shock but later I thought of course it makes sense. Even HK girls might be forced to eventually hit the streets if the bar business significantly slows down. It will be up the the cops or military to clear the streets at that point if they even give a damn. Rather than wait for the HK car service I wanted to head back ASAP so I just hopped in a taxi and made my way back to the border. Only a couple people in line but then again that's pretty much the norm for a Wednesday night. Typical interaction with CBP, no unusual questions, they let me through pretty quick.

Well that's it for me for the foreseeable future. As much as I'the like to continue going to HK, I'm going to do my part and just stay home other than work which will not be slowing down for me at all. I'the love to have a job where I could work from home but unfortunately that's not the case. Good luck to whoever is next to make the trip and please report.
