Never rented a room yourself? You sound young so let me try to steer you safe. Under NO circumstances do you get a room in your name and leave and let her have it. Basically your name is on a room attached to god knows what illegal activity. If you are going to get a room at a real (not hourly) def get it first. Keep things moving and no need for the front desk to see her or wasting time going back out and getting her. All hotels will require I'd and most a credit card. Hide anything that identifies your real name, your employer, or address. Don't leave her alone with your wallet not even to go to the bathroom. If you have to pick her up stay alert, no need for you to get out of car. Being overly cautious it keeps you out of jail or getting robbed. A lot of times, they can pick up on newbies, and try to get over on you.
