I met her, and planned on seeing her again. At no point did I gather that she is vindictive or petty like that. This never happens if you use a texting app with alerts on mute and delete the app when your SO will be around your phone. You can reinstall the app when you need to use it. I don't trust ANY provider enough to have my real number any more. Too many things can go wrong. Someone on these forums mentioned TextNow a year or so ago and I've used that ever since. It's bulletproof once you get the hang of it. In my opinion, it's the most important tool to a monger with a SO.

It always makes me laugh when providers ask you if you are law enforcement or affiliated with them. Cops don't have to tell you the truth! It's ridiculous. Though obviously I don't point that out to them at the time.
