The man has brought this franchise soooooo much joy and pain that it would be incredibly disrespectful to not pay him what he is deserved. Obviously, look at all the other QB getting top dollar in the NFL:

    1. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson: $35 million.

    2. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger: $34 million.

    3. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers: $33.5 million.

    4. Eagles QB Carson Wentz: $32 million.

    5. Falcons QB Matt Ryan: $30 million.

    6. Vikings QB Kirk Cousins: $28 million.

    7. 49 ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo: $27.5 million.

    8. Lions QB Matthew Stafford: $27 million.

    9. Raiders QB Derek Carr: $25 million.

    10. Saints QB Drew Brees: $25 million.

Nowhere on that list is Tom, the man who has brought six fucking Superbowls to New England and Mr. Kraft and Bill aren't going to pay him what he's deserved?. Man, I can't wait to see how all this will pan out. Tom will be a free agent in March. Also, there are a lot of other players for NE who'll either be gone or coming back. The Patriots have a lot of off-season work to do. Josh McDaniels as well!.
Imagine Jimmy G makes more money then Tom does. Also maybe that's why Russell only has 1 ring while Tom's got 6. I was going to say the Vikings until Cousins beat the Saints. I don't think Tom's return depends on Tom though. I've got an interesting but a very painful scenario. Is Dak that good? Would anyone want to deal with Jerry Jones though? Canes? Jags too? You know I just thought of something interesting if I'd be Tom and if I realized that I can't return here I'd go to Denver. Good team, unsteady situation with the QB, and Elway for manager. Better then most situations I'd say.

Since the loss on Saturday, the haters have been having a field day like a teenager at a prom dance. All this talk about the dynasty had ended because we lost one game is so stupid and premature. Being a dynasty does not mean you are going to win every single fucking game. Since Saturday, Facebook has been blowing up non-stop. I think I must have ignored nearly 90 % of it. I have two friends that are not Patriot fans but they love Brady as they are both Wolverine fans. Thank god for them as they have replied to some less than flattering posts on my behalf and 3 other friends that are Patriot fans who have gone on the warpath with the jealous fuckwits. The rest can eat a fucking dick. If we're in the mix again next year with a deep playoff run it sure as hell doesn't mean our dynasty never ended or, is it SB or bust for the Patriots, anything less means the dynasty is over?

That is laughable. I knew the hatred for the Patriots ran deep, I just didn't realize how deep till Saturday night. In hindsight, I am happy and proud of my team for the fact the haters and opposers make it their day to thrash my team calling them cheaters, scammers, etc, etc. It just goes to show me that their team truly, outright, without a shadow of a doubt, fucking sucks and the Patriots are living rent-free in their heads. EVEN WHEN WE LOSE!.

    Could Not Agree More.

I certainly hope that Brady comes back, but hopefully with better offensive players around, particularly the offensive line.

I do wonder if Kraft pulled the trigger on dismiising AB more quickly than he needed to do, due to Kraft's own public relations miscue in the Massage Parlor. Of course, who knows, if AB didn't get dismissed that time, whether he would have made it through the season. AB continues to be a train wreck.

Those that are now speculating about the "what if" the Pats kept Garoppolo, the Pats probably don't win the SuperBowl last year with Garoppolo. This year is the first year Garoppolo has played all 16 games. Lets see if he wins his first SB this year. SF should make it to the SB. Lets see if Garoppolo can do it. Las Vegas is picking Ravens or Chiefs over SF right now.

This season is all Krafts fault. He let his ego get in front of his team and his fans. Fuck that old piece of shit. I legitimately hope he dies a terribly slow painful death.

With AB we win the superbowl. Without him we lose wild card weekend.

    Let Johnathan take over.

    After sleeping on it though.

That all of course would only hold true though if Kraft and the Bel-man want him back. Don't forget that only couple of years back we had a bonified heir apparent in Jimmy G, who now is eh, let's say, doing alright, and predictably so. Brady had a chance to move to San Fran and finish his carrier with possible ring for his home town team and have his jersey raised here, as well as there next to Montana and Young. If you remember there were some Brady-related issues involved with that whole saga of Garappolo going to San Fran. I mean Belichick is a great coach, no doubt, but you can't deny that he's also a one vindictive mofo as well. Remember Jonas Grey situation some years back? What was that, the guy was late once, right? And I think it was during snowstorm too? Boom! Stake through your heart baby! What about that whole Malcolm Butler affair couple of years ago that definitely (as far as I'm concerned) cost us another ring?

Don't be surprised if we're experiencing a version of that now here with Brady. If Brady would've left for San Fran we (and Belicheck and Kraft, which is probably even more important) probably would've had a pretty good QB to continue on with. I wouldn't want to be in Jimmy G's shoes trying to fit into into the Brady's shoes (LOL), and there is little doubt that Jimmy lucked out big time when he was the one to be shipped to SF (just look at all of those QBs trying to follow Elway in Denver), but I also have no doubt that both Kraft and especially Belicheck remember all the Brady-related staff that went with that 'trade'. Especially after Belichick went so unBelichick-like to protect Brady in his "I'm not Mona Lisa Vito of air pressure" press conference.

Also, who knows how Brady reacted to Antonio Brown's release. I bet he wasn't all that happy considering how promptly we got rid of the guy and due to I'd say pretty iffy reasons too. Sure, many would say that we had to be extra careful, especially after Hernandez but still. Brady was probably realizing the Philip Dorset wasn't going to cut it, and there was nobody else interesting available (Sanu?! Please) Brady might've expressed those reservations privately to either Belicheck or Kraft (or both) and maybe with a bit more of a fervor that either was ready to accept.

Now, since Brady didn't appear to look all that hot in the last that many games, and even threw a goodbye pick at the end, Belichick and / or Kraft might think that they laid enough grounds with the fun base to move on from Brady, maybe even in a more "understandable" fashion. Like maybe, say McDaniels moves to Carolina and takes Brady (and Edelman?) along? Who'd to say what to that? We'd cringe, sure, but at least it's not the Colts, right? Or, is Brissett all that good? I know that Frank Reich is a fantastic coach and a former NFL QB too. Maybe Brissett can use a year or two more of being groomed by the big brother for bigger and better things? He hardly got any of that in New England, and didn't really expect to be starting QB for the Colts before Luck's sudden departure.

Have you seen the way Brady almost threw himself at hugging Kraft right before the game? I thought I saw some extra signs in that embrace, did you? I thought there was just a bit too much gusto involved in the hug of two people who went through so many similar bowl games together already, many of which were of much greater significance than yesterday's game.

Just throwing some scenarios out there. No facts, no inside info, but just looking at things and how they transpired and how sharply all of the sudden things went downhill + the history, especially Belichick's history, which in many ways is to say the least controversial often involving some really cold blooded decisions and serious ego trip too. I can't help but to think of some undercurrents here that we might not be privy to.

In any case I don't know about all of you but for me if it's not Brady and the Pats then I'd be rooting for Russell and the Seahawks. I'm not sure how long that would last too but you know LOL.

When a franchise wins so much that losing in the first round of the playoffs is a tragedy, most teams can only hope of being above .500 let alone making it to the playoffs. That just shows what a dynasty this Pats franchise has been, the bar is set so high, its Superbowl or bust and honestly no one here can say "The Evil Empire" didn't get their victories. Six Superbowls isn't enough to concede that Bill and Bray's run was amazing and scary. Brady and Belicheck gave people nightmares and now there is hope the nightmare is now over after this loss. As a football fan I hope not but, I can't lie, it's hard to be celebratory right now. The Patriots have a LOT of offseason work to do.

He'll be back with the Pats. He doesn't want his last play here to be a pick six. He doesn't need the money to try and get top dollar, which he won't get, elsewhere.

    Here's to next year

If there is a next year here we come, we're on to next year, so my alternative team is the Saints, after getting screwed over the last couple years I'd like to see them win it all.

If not the Saints then the 49 ers, after that I don't care.

    Oh well.

Tough loss and very disappointed but it's tough to win the Super Bowl every year. It should be a very interesting offseason with potentially a lot of changes. This has been a great run, hope it's not over. Thanks to all the great Pat fans for another year of excitement. It was a lot of fun!. We should have a lot to talk about this offseason. If you asked me is the dynasty over, Its definitely lingering that way. The Patriots have given me 20+ years of pure joy and pain.

    Let's discuss this.

    Same Ol, Same Ol.

Its the same ol shit I and many Pats fans have been hearing over and over and over and over and over again for the past 20 fucking years.

    RIP PATS: Bledsoe injured.

RIP PATS: Final drive of Rams Super Bowl (should have been playing for overtime according to John Madden).

    RIP PATS: 2002 no-repeat.

RIP PATS: 2003-2004—anytime they played Peyton Manning.

RIP PATS: Playing at Cincy during a down year in which Carson / Ocho / Housh were in their primes. The "changing of the guard" is what the experts called it, which was sure to usher in the Patriots demise and the beginning of the Bengals dynasty (Bengals lost this game BTW).

RIP PATS: Anytime the following list of players was traded and or cut: Drew Bledsoe, Lawyer Milloy, Logan Mankins, Richard Seymour, Deion Branch, Mike Vrabel, Adam Vinatieri, Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Ty Law, Asante Samuel, Jamie Collins, Chandler Jones, Malcolm Butler, Danny Amendola, Nate Solder, Jimmy G.

    RIP PATS: Pick a 'Gate.

    RIP PATS: 2008 Brady's ACL.

RIP PATS: 2014 by Trent Dilfer after Chiefs loss (onto Cincinnati—to his credit Dilfer heavily recanted and vehemently defended Pats dynasty during "Spygate".

RIP PATS: Anytime they play a regular-season game against the team of a player they traded the prior season and lose.

RIP PATS: Every season since Brady turned 32 ish and his skills "would inevitably begin to decline" the following season.

    RIP PATS: 28-3.

RIP PATS: Brady vs Bill vs Kraft.

RIP PATS: Eagles ended Patriots Dynasty After Super Bowl 52.

RIP PATS: Anytime they lose during the regular season.

    RIP PATS: Miami Miracle.

    Fools haven't learned crap since.

The Titans with Henry are tough. They played the Saints without Henry. I think if Henry played they would've won. Plus Mark Vrabel knows our game. What I'm trying to say is that if Pats lose they'd lose to the Titans but if they beat the Titans the rest of the filed better watch out.

Remember Eli and the Giants barely made it into the playoffs some years back only to ruin our perfect season in the finals. The fat lady is yet to sing my friends. Not yet. The Pats are just laying a trap. LOL.

No one in their right mind can think we can beat this Raven team. I am already looking forward to next year fellas.

    Throwing the towel.
