The Upstairs Jewel Box was a struggling club for as long as I can remember. New owners took over a couple of months ago. Definitely changed for the better. Must of been about 10-15 girls of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. I got a couple of ladies drinks (the $25 variety). I was practically getting lap dances at the bar. No way I'd get away with that kind of play at the Harem.

Sat with 2 girls. One was a bubbly red head. The other was an Hawaiin looking girl. (Don't remember their names.) Apparently they were pretty new to the scene and haven't warmed up yet to the VIP area. I guess my luck had to run out eventually. Still had a great time (considering most of the times I went to the Block this year kind of sucked).

Hopefully there'll be more nights like this one.

Could be right re Block future, though new space appears to be regular office space, not adult business. I agree about lack of talent, though there's a chicken and egg argument re: impact of safety impacting client traffic, which then reduces income, which means fewer non-druggies willing to work, etc.

Hustler has come up on hard times? Was there ever a time when Hustler was any good? It's been a couple of years since I checked it out.

Yes re: Red Room; all happened in last week (my understanding is Daisy leaving Wed. , so MIGHT be there Tuesday for one last pay day). Hustler been mediocre for years, but not like THIS.
