I choose the appropriate folder; inbox or sent. The messages are listed and to the extreme right of each message there is a small square box. I move down the list of messages, clicking on the box attached to the message I have decided to delete. Its not necessary to actually open the message; its a matter of making a quick decision as to whether you wish to retain that particular one.

Finally I click on selected messages at the bottom of the listing and choose delete as the option. The selected messages are then deleted.

Can't think of a faster way of doing it without opening each individual message.

I manually deleted about a dozen one by one but gave up. This method seems much better, thanks for the tip!

I've hit my 200 message limit again so apologize if you sent a pm recently. What is the easiest way to delete a lot of messages without emptying the entire folder? There are a few messages with info I may want to keep but don't feel like going through 200 pms one at a time. Thanks.
