-A six-person panel of DuPage County Board members had been set up in January to do research on local adult businesses and their practices. In March board members invited adult businesses owners throughout the county to attend a meeting with the panel. '.

Translation: County board members spent 3 mos and untold tax dollars visiting strip joints, lingerie lounges and (probably) jackshacks and this is what they come up with:

++ 'As part of the ordinance, performers, dancers, bouncers, and managers will be required to wear a special I'd card while they are working. '.

Yeah-EVERY STRIPPER wants to be wearing a SPECIAL IDcard while dancing -maybe it will even have their SS#, DOB, and mothers maiden name clearly printed on it for all the customers to review.

And THIS I'd will 'curb crime', according to the County.

Surprise, surprise!:

They intimidate someone or several someones that are in a position to be swayed because most of these providers are not from the USA. Also if they get them to admit that they were indeed trafficked they know it's going to be a higher profile case which means a pay grade increase, some media, who knows LEO might write a book and get a movie deal! Total bs, however this does exist and we may as well get used to it. The country is turning towards the direction that no one is responsible for their own choices. Everyone is a victim! And now with a governmental agency that victim is also a client! Sucks really! Imo.

Can't find online but in Tribune headline To flip masseuse, a soft touch tried. A quote "we will guide you an apartment,. We will provide food and education. We will bring your children to US. Just tell us you are human trafficking victim and testify against your captors".

Sounds tempting but she wouldn't do it.

Since March there have been arrests at a few well known AMP's Oki Doki, Ozone, Sister Lavender, why spa, North River, Princess Spa Thai bodywork it's easy enough to check Uncle gives arrest reports with address of the offense, it would appear our paranoia may be well founded re stings so let's be careful out there.

It was garbage focused just on young / underage girls being trafficked. Honestly I don't understand guys who want to fuck underage girls.

For obvious reasons I don't discuss the topic with other people but the overwhelming public opinion of people who had never tried the hobby is exactly that escorts and poor abused, pimped out women and the Johns are a bunch of guys who pay for sex because they can't get it "the normal way". I made the mistake once to comment on line that the vast majority of prostitutes in the developed countries excluding the junkies are doing it voluntarily and consensually and was ripped to pieces by angry women who "felt terrible for the poor women forced to have sex for money ".

You got clobbered by the typical position of the feminist movement! Once verified many of these women are trust fund babies, never worked a day in their lives and live in a private country club environment where they really never engage with anyone else except like minded people. I know I met some of them!
