Closely akin to this scam is the "can I have an extra $x this time? I really need it to pay my phone bill or you won't be able to contact me any more (or some such thing) BUT I'll make it up to you next time (freebie, extras, more time, etc). ".

Usually the requests that I get are just plain flat out requests for money once someone feels comfortable enough, its not even about a pretense of 'verification' or any such thing.

I clearly tell them 'end of conversation' I'm glad to be a FWB but not money for nothing, not what I'm hear for. Funny as soon as I do that some of them 'go-off on me' and I actually suspect some / many of them are guys posing as women just to scam horny stupid men thinking they're talking to a 20 yo college girl.

It's just an updated version of give me money for a room, come on my young mongers got to have some street smarts to play. Some SBs after you meet few days later they will text you wanting you to send them lunch money via WU or a cash app, tell them to get real you are not a ATM.

No I never do give anything in advance. But I thought perhaps this is a new trend starting, and being more accepted as a norm. I am glad to hear from all of you guys, that we're all on the same page still. This scamming shall pass eventually, as long as most of us don't fall for it.

Don't ever ever send money in advance. You won't see it again. I would not use cashapp, venmo, apple pay or any other method in advance. I avoid Western Union and Moneygram.

Keep your money to yourself until the girl gives you what you want first.

If these girls want to verify a real person by receiving a deposit, then it should matter how much you deposit. If you told then you were going to deposit $0. 05 in her account, she'd get the assurances she needs. If she's looking to scam then she's going to want more. BTW, PayPal makes two small deposits when verify a new bank account as you probably know.

Ha, interesting. She also gave me an address, not in Pineville, but over in Steel Creek area. I am not sure what her game is, but I don't think I'll take my chances with this one. Too fishy for my taste. One of her pics looks like she used to work in Tilted Kit. I know it's been a long time, but come to think of it, I think I used to see s skinny little black hair long girl working there. My luck with this one has been similar. Very hard to communicate. Takes forever to reply. One day she replied around 4:00 AM and asked me if I could see her that morning. "the earlier the better" she said. I guess she came home from the late shift and was planning just to continue working for little longer. Not saying she's a pro, but it wouldn't surprise me. I also don't function on such short notice, but wouldn't mind taking that for a test drive, if I can ever get in touch with her.

For what it's worth and just in case some thought Tinder was a good arrangement sight. I have been on there for almost 3 months and been matched with several girls claiming to need a sugar daddy. Some instantly and some after chatting for days finally get around to discussing arrangements. Long story short I have always ended up with request for up front $ to be sent through various type cash apps. Of course I'm not falling for that and as soon as I mention meeting first they go ghost.
