Just a follow up to Land Rover. Wanted to warn any would be visitors that LEO is active with several local Lansing AMP locations. The legendary Mikki recently moved from off the radar location to city based parlor. It is now closed for " plumbing issues".

Going from one place to another in the city, I don't think it'd have to be any part of some big "bum rush" of LE. That said, it's not like places aren't periodically busted. The only issue / concern I would have would be of places that were shut down temporarily -- and then re-opened. I'd hold off on that, but after the Kraft story, anyone with a brain in their head running their joint is going to check for any cameras and isn't going to fall for said trick. Nor even fall for a Fake problem in the first place without their eye on it. So I Highly doubt that is happening, but if it is, any 'threat' is extremely short-lived. I would say far more likely Mikki going there, being as blatant as she normally has been, got caught doing something by an LOE under-cover. But again, Mikki's a legend in the greater Lansing area -- not some classic run-of-the-mill gal working at a massage parlor.

Answered the door? So walking up to it out of the blue had a cop answer the door to come in (middle of being busted / looked at)? Bad timing if that's the case. Or basically they decided to camp out there a bit while scaring / shoo-ing guys away. But again, an AMP getting shut down isn't some new concept by any means. I think one would be jumping the gun to assume cops are going to give a faux reason to a parlor to temporarily have it close due to operational issues to plant cameras all around. Especially with it not working out so well in the Kraft situation.

Third spa has reports of "reduced services".

If the LE is looking into any fellow spas in the Lansing area, I can understand they want to be on the DL for a while.

In the end, the positive thing can be to put gals in position to not over-charge. Guys are going to think with the head above their shoulders more due to eyebrow-raising stuff going on about in general. Supply and demand.

I was thinking the same thing. But even if they were able to use that video as evidence it would be hard to see how you can convict if there is no audio. Seems you would need that verbal agreement of this much $ for this act. But I am not a lawyer so what the hell do I know.

I would love to see this is a win, but I still think the judges left room for LE to figure out a workaround. Not for the Kraft case, but for future cases. When the judges say the warrant to install cameras in the spa "didn't include instructions on how to minimize surveilling legitimate massages" it just sounds like they're saying, hey dumb asses, next time try including these instructions and you might be fine. Hope I'm wrong.

A second judge is tossing the Kraft video, this time in the case against the masseuses. The main reason given, by both judges, was that LE did not do enough to protect innocent customers.

Just curious, has anyone else become a LOT more concerned about participating in the hobby since the whole Kraft debacle? And now the PM scamming? Also, LEO has been very active in Lansing and not too long ago TC. Kraft may go unscathed, but they'll figure out how to make it legal to hide cameras in the future. Just a matter of time. It just feels like LEO is really ramping up their efforts against forums like this. Curious if I'm the only one.

We're just as scared as the mongers. As far as cameras go that's a violation of privacy that will never be held up in court. You guys want to play we just want to eat. God damn LE is trying to fuck us all up. I'm pretty sure the sheriff's judges lawyers prosecutors Etc all love to play as well.

They (LE) are more concerned with human trafficing with the parlors. Anyway, bottom line just use common sense and your gut. If anything seems off, and I mean anythig, walk away.

The thinner Spinner type are usually tweaking on something and their dealer will be around the corner somewhere.

If you're worried about being stung in a hotel room take a good look at the vehicles in the parking lot. If you see one of those special antennas that's a red flag. After the provider gives you the room number, ask the front desk if that number has an adjoining room. LE stings with two rooms one for monitors and the other one for you and her.

Special antennas and adjoining room? Let the big head do your thinking and walk away.

I haven't ever heard of a bust in a private home. Car dates can be risky too, learn the ropes and you will be safer.
