    It seems there's always talk about "be careful" or "stay away from" Sharonville because of LEO. Which area (s) are you guys referring to? Is it the area of Sharon Rd. Where there's a Red Roof, La Quinta and Drury Inn? What about area of I-275 and US 42 where there's a Day's Inn south of I-275 and a Clarion and Rodeway Inn on the north side? Or is it ALL of the above?

    I will agree with you on one point. I expect the provider to be ready At agreed time. When she says she will make it up that's what I expect. If I call in a timely manor but a year later she is not obligated to give you a rain check. I have had providers cancel on me an say they will make it up. It happened about a week ago with Devine Rachel. I contacted her a few days later and she honored her promise.

    You essentially got a rain check. Rain checks from businesses apply for about 30,60 or 90 days max. Also, if you wanted to look at it as a discount coupon, you will see coupons also have expiration dates, normally within the month. You waited a year to get your discount; if it were my business I would have told you the same thing she told you.

    I agree that "I'll make it up to you next time is often an empty promise and more often than not not honored, but I also think asking for the discount a year later is a stretch. The purpose of the discount is to encourage a continued relationship with a customer. To make right something that went wrong so that you can continue the relationship, and a lot can change in a year. Sorry. Just sayin'.
