First, to be clear, I remain grateful to posters who provide digits... And I will continue to thank posters who provide digits for SWs. BUT (note emphasis) I feel like a novice when trying to negotiate the ins and outs (excuse the expression) of escort mongering... (How long does it take NOT to be a novice???)

Take home lesson for "escort" Skyler??? She is not an SW, but rather a dancer/"home entertainer" who has been mentioned previously on this board. How was this non-SW??? ...I was taken.

When I arrived, she asked for 1.25 "for a show"... No way. I asked for FS instead, negotiating down to 0.6.

Dialog: "Hurry up--get yourself hard and put on an umbrella..." Afterwards, "be sure the condom and package flushes and put your clothes on in the bathroom 'cause I think someone else is pulling in."

My bad. I did not follow my instincts when first meeting her: she seemed completely put off by the situation. But, when confronted with an unclothed youngster with nice labia and cute breasts--my little head was working, not my bigger head.

Final review: She's a young chubber, in a BIG rush, WAY too high expectation on "quid pro quo," ZERO indication of wanting to please, pushing me perfunctually out the door.

For senior members (and regulars who have made significant posts), will give details and digits... But don't say I didn't warn you.

Does she have advantages of NOT being an SW?

1) Yes, for her, you don't HAVE to cruise the streets.
2) Yes, she has her OWN, (fairly) clean apt.
3) Yes--she is not a theif (probably--not totally sure of this).
4) Yes, a fellow monger gave me her digits which gives a degree of credibility (THANK YOU).

But... It was a VERY disappointing encounter (read his post--it contained warning signs). No way I recommend her, even if she IS on the East side (which might be convenient for some of us). [On the alternative, you may be able to parlay my problems into a positive outcome? Doubt it...]

Bottom line? Given the choice--SWs on average are much more satisfactory than this chat-line chicky. Not that this is a scientific study, but I believe the bottom line is "to each, his own.." For the 0.6 wasted, could have tried 3 different SWs, at least one or two of which would most probably have been much a more positive experience that Skyler...

STILL learning... But I still have an unexplanable affection for SWs and the hard work they do which I do NOT have for the likes of Skyler. [Nota bene: Cat, Pocahantas, Dina, Tammy, Sauna (sad situation there), etc.]

There are several escorts in Cincy and N.Kentucky that are dependable and very good at what they do. To name a few: Cailia, Karla, Paige and there are several ladies that travel from Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh to Cincinnati.

REAL QUICK, Chester that crap happens all the time. There are so few decent SW out there, even if you get them/there first, you can always lose your OPP, to more money (known Big Spenders), people they know better, people that look like COPS are turned down, and other SW's that tell them you are okay over someone they don't like, and THEY DO TALK about Johns. Going to an Escort you can get, robbed, and taken advantage of, for even more MONEY, and you can walk into a setup too, by their Pimps, and by LE. SO folks will go in the direction where they feel like they can better control the results, and the situation. On the whole people who use Escorts, love using them for the time, safety, and Peace of Mind. In other WORDS, they can efford it .... BUT DIG THIS !

ESCORTs you will never get a 10-15 minute rate, especially not of $20-30. Still it equals out to $80-120 an hour. Some street action from the really decent, clean, SEXZ SW's can be $40-60 for about 15-20 minutes, which is even more money per hour. I am then looking at $160-240 an hour at that street rate. No one here in this city anywhere will be paying that on the street. NO MATTER HOW SHE LOOKS! So it is about how comfortable you feel and the excitement you BEST ENJOY. The Money still equals out to about the same, it is just the out lay of immediate Big CASH, even before Service are redendered. And I have FOUND ALOT OF DIAMONDS, and had them for several hours, as I had the Time, for only $30-50, and had my TOTAL WAY with them, and they gladly made it a regular event .... Keyword "EVENT".

OK, OK... No argument here that cruising OTR has its (serious) risks, both physical and financial. At the same time, I admit that the risk is a component of the thrill of the cruise. And... I admit it, I am a cheapskate. I do not have the resources to plunk down 2.5 for a (mouth watering) encounter. Indeed, I vicariously enjoy descriptions of the escapades of you capitalists... ;-)

How can I say this... For instance, when surfing the web for titillating material, the SEARCH is part of the enjoyment. FINDING a lovely, sweet, warm hearted sweetie is wonderful. I LIKE cruising OTR in hopes of finding a diamond in the rough. I think of Rachel, Pocohantas, Dina, Sauna (in her former days, etc) And ... I LOVE the price range.

I consider my fellow mongers who have had success with escorts trusted and respected friends. I am happy (and jealous) of their experiences with escorts.

But for those of us who have more limited resources (think about it--one escort encounter (2.5) versus 10 bbbj encounters (@ 0.25 per)--Aw heck--is there an argument here??? To each his own according to his resources? And (may I ask) are escorts 100% dependable?

I still keep in mind wonderful encounters in Costa Rica for 0.2 in which GFE style warmth for FS services were the norm.

Bottom line??? If you have the resources, hit the escort route, and tell us "hoi poli" about how wonderful it is. On the other hand, if you are 'mining for diamonds' on the streets, please let us know about them--and offer the digits for the two days they are valid!

Thanks guys. I actually expected to get a lot of ribbing for spending the kind of cash it takes to score with a decent escort. However, it's good to know there are those who are in the same boat and do see things from my point of view.

I'm not knocking the girls who ply their trade on the street corners of OTR or Clifton. I'm sure that there are those gems out there who anyone will be happy to spend some time with. However they are too rare and too far in between for my tastes.

Much better experience without the problems (drug/disease, rip-off, LE) if you're willing to get over the mental block about coughing up $$+. You can save a few Jacksons by pulling them out of the Newport/Covington clubs too, but that's got its own set of issues. For starters, I'd run through the ad postings, find the girl(s) I like and then choose one who has a couple decent reviews on the various review sites and work from there. Good luck.

I have used escorts for a few years. There are many to choose from in our part of Ohio ranging from 150-400/hr.

The reason I use them is simply you get better quality, more enjoyable time, less hassle and if you do your homework, you have a much less chance of getting in LE trouble.

She doesn't use a service. She's strictly independent. She posts on a few chat/message boards and that's where I saw her. I did a few checks on my own and found out she was a former porn actress with a few movies under her belt. During my time with her, she demontrated the skills that she learned in the porn biz.
