I had some further conversation with her. While she reaffirmed she's off the market she said she might be open to arrangements like a couple of years ago if she was single.

I can't say one way or the other on this one, but some scammers use this approach to separate you from your cash. The scammers create a "relationship" with you and then hit you up for cash for various expenses. Guys fall for it hoping they can take her "off the market" before she even arrives.

My philosophy is that if she isn't here, I know my needs aren't getting met. So, I spend my time and expenses locally. If she is in a bind there, she can find help there easily.

Some girls pop on and off of Seeking.com for other reasons. Some use it as a side hustle when they have a specific economic need. You can usually figure out their rationale after a little communication. I once saw a girl who was looking for bail money for her bf. Another was fired from her job and needed rent money. The "reason" they are on the site (and the frequecy) can tell you a lot about the kind of experience you will have.
