I warned everyone about this specific place a few months ago under general topics. She was pretty convincing sending me a picture with 3 fingers up. My past experience of getting ripped off in Roselle (lake street) stopped me from going into this place. They chose their location poorly and I'm glad.

The places on both North Ave and Lake Street have a long reputation for being rip off joints Their business plan is to hit the customer with upsells after you walk in the door promising the world, but after you pay always failing to deliver. (check out the rip off alerts forum on this site). If any customer complained there were big goons more than willing to handle any complaints. I'm surprised the powers that be actually went after them. They've been protected by them forever (probably were given a financial incentive to look the other way) despite literally no one wanting them here. The only goal of those places was to get as many pigeons as they could in the door and take as much money from them as they could. Good riddance.

Interesting. On the news last night they interviewed the next door dance studio owner who said that the other day her students were leaving and there was a "screamer" next door so it was pretty obvious what was going on in there.

Our best hope is that Kraft takes a page out of the playbook of Bezos. When the Enquirer tried to shame Bezos into silence, his reaction was "You're not coming for me, mothafugga. I'm coming for you! It was epic!

Hopefully Kraft doesn't tuck tail and hide. Kraft is the right person and this is the right time for major legislative reform to decriminalize prostitution. He's wealthy, he's powerful, he's widowed / single, and he clearly is on the side of sanity. He's also older so hopefully he is more interested in doing what is right than what the old ladies at the country club think about him.

One more point.

There are TONS of undocumented women who are working for cleaning companies. They are working 12-14 hour days doing unsanitary, hard, disgusting work for below minimum wage. Where are the news articles about these women? But if that same woman earns a days salary in a 30 minutes by giving an old guy a massage, it is an OUTRAGE! It is vitally important to get that poor woman back cleaning toilets for 14 hours a day and barely being able to feed her kids, right? Either that or deport her back to her country so she and her kids can live in abject poverty for the rest of their lives. Dumb.

And very much to the point and I for one totally agree! Keep in mind these pretty people on tv are just reading a teleprompter. They have their jobs because they are wiling to push the agendas of their network. Which of course is extremely liberal. The old saying if it bleeds it leads is relevant here in that the human trafficking angle has to be there to justify why this is even a story. The guy was and is high profile. He will remain so. Our current president was involved in certain situations, however had the foresight to offer hush money. We are indeed living in a society of what I like to call the neutered male. Any time the main stream media gets an opportunity to shed light on that they do it. This incident is just another example. Bad old guy! A pervert football franchise owner! Cops good this time! Human trafficking has been rescued!

I'm down here right now in this general area. One local news channel reported that the cops staked out one particular spa for 6 days and saw 97 guys go in and out. I'm guessing they ran their license plates. As of now, this is just a guess. They also reported that the cops did something called a "trash pull" and found a spreadsheet of financial records. They may have gotten credit card info from these records. On the early evening news, they showed all the mugshots with names and dates of birth. They also put a tracking device on the vehicle of one of the owners.

I read from our brothers on the Boston boards that the cops charged in to the spas, claiming there was a bomb threat. Everybody cleared out so they could search. While everyone is out, put the cameras in hidden spots. Clever, huh? I guess cops are allowed to yell Fire in a crowded theater, as long as it serves the greater good of preventing L1 from going on.
