That's on her, I would think. Without being a clock watcher, there are ways to do it. Most of the gals I've seen regularly have no problem with an hour going an hour and 10, but a 2 or 3 hour time, it's worth considering compensation. There are no hard and fast rules, I just wanted to see what you guys all think about things.

As some of you know, I'm pretty good friends with a few of our local ladies. Without getting invasively revealing, we talk about things and this has come up with every gal I know. Now, do keep in mind, and most of you know the gals I have been and am still close with, they are NOT high volume, NOT druggies, not out to scam you or rip you off. I include myself in those you's.


Longer than hour appointments. When agreed up front that the hourly or half hourly rate, whatever, applies for anything past the agreed on and paid for upon meeting appointment time, again, every lady I know has had most clients try to not pay the extra, or cut it, or even become threatening. What's the consensus on that? If I ask for a half hour, with the understanding that we may go an hour if I last and they have time, myself, I couldn't see trying to conive my way out of making good on our agreement.

So these kinds of issues, as well as driving all the way from one part of the lowcountry to another then having a $$$ agreed appointment become "I only have $$, take it or leave it" kind of thing, what are your thoughts, guys? Is a deposit that bad of an idea? Is there a way that our upper end ladies can be assured of making their ends meet?

Just would like to see what the guys I know here think. I hear these things from all the gals I know, and I can see it being all kinds of frustration.

Thoughts? Not trying to rip on anyone on either side of the business, not at all. Just wondering what thoughts and ideas on this stuff you all might have.

No shows. Stuff happens, but if a lady has put off making other plans, work wise or life, and a guy ghosts and leaves her high and dry. Is that worth something monetarily? Or booked a room with the expectation of a confirmed date?

Dinner Dates. That is still buying their time. Every single lady I have known that does dinner or shopping dates, or whatever outside of the action, has had issues with guys agreeing to their hourly rate, then not wanting to make good on it. "I thought it was an actual date". Is a deposit acceptable for that kind of session, appointment, whatever you call it? I've never done that kind of appointment myself, but if I was going to, I don't know if I would balk at a deposit or not.

The ladies I know, all have lives, rent to pay or mortgages, car payments, insurance, the same stuff we all do. I don't deal with the high volume, low quality, hit it and go kind of gals, so nothing against them or the guys that see them, but that's a different world than where I cast my nets, so to speak.

Just would like to see what the guys I know here think. I hear these things from all the gals I know, and I can see it being all kinds of frustration.

Looks definitely matter, a lot. An unattractive lady (to me. Beauty is very subjective) is not even going to catch my eye. But a smoking hot gal with a crap attitude is as bad, worse if the financial part of the deal has already taken place.

That why I get to know the ladies if possible. All of my favorite and loved / respected ladies have great looks (again, to ME) and stellar service. My likes aren't going to be everyone's, and that isn't meant arrogantly. Their looks and attitudes aren't me. I'm just lucky, as many here are, of having been acquainted with some remarkable ladies on all counts.

But a point that Lens made leads to my next discussion question. Fellas, what's more important to you: Looks or Service?

My short answer is service.

Just a couple points I wanted to respond to.

As far as negotiations are concerned, I never start off by haggling with a provider. I feel like if they agree to see me after haggling then the visit may be sub par or full of upcharges. My typical play if I am not feeling her donation amount is to simply reply no thanks but have a nice evening. Then, it is about a 50/50 shot she texts back with a better number. This way, she does not feel like her hand has been forced and SHE is initiating the offer. This has worked out well for me in the past.

I tend to agree with the overall consensus of the thread, which is you generally pay for quality. I think that can be said of buying just about any goods or services. The only caveat I would add is that in this hobby you are dealing with a lot of hustlers. Now I usually use that term with a positive connotation, but not in this instance. Many of these providers, not all of course, are simply looking to separate you from your donation while putting in minimal effort. They know which head we do most of our thinking with. So yeah, paying for quality is basic function of our economy, no doubt. But if I can get the dealer to come down on the price of that used car by simply walking away and feigning disinterest then that's a win win.

But a point that Lens made leads to my next discussion question. Fellas, what's more important to you: Looks or Service?

My short answer is service.
