My thoughts would be to always look at who posts regularly on random days, and you can always Google search a number. Unless they have multiple ads or reviews somewhere I wouldn't even bother. I looked at some of the ads posted last wed. And there were a few that I never saw and the phone number yielded no results so chances are the guys responded to one of those ads.

It's not necessarily the sin or morality aspect of it. We have two other issues. 1 the government does not like untaxed wages. Providers pay no tax dollars on the hobby so Uncle Sam will never get his "fair" share of it. 2. Special interest groups wil not allow it. It's been clear for the past 20 years that the people nor the government hold political power but it primarily goes to special interest groups and lobbyists. If they throw around enough money shit gets done. You nor the providers don't matter one bit to them. Also if it were legal the hobby would get more expensive. Hobbyists will be the one paying for their business license and for law enforcement to protect them.

Either way you lose something. It's just that with one option you won't go to jail. I agree that it is annoying when they try to crack down on the hobby. Makes no sense.
