I've had some luck finding decent Airbnb spots that are really close to campus and sometimes cheaper than a hotel room. I really don't like having the hotel room hookup so maybe this is just something that appeals to me.

Yes you will generally need to find a place especially for the college coeds. They like a place near campus if possible since they are so busy busy busy.

I think you will find most cannot host. So plan on getting a place. I use SA exclusively when I travel because of it.
