The cameras were switched on this past June. City of Dayton isn't worry about civilians safety, they see their use as an easy way to make fast cash. I got the ticket for "speeding" little more than 5 miles above the limit not because I ran a red light. The location of the camera over keowee is not even on an intersection is actually there to make quick cash with motorists. I read a report where they are estimating 400 k+ a year with their use.

You are right that Ohio legislators passed in law in 2015 regulating speed / red light cameras basically requiring a police officer to be present when they are active. The City of Dayton appealed several of the provisions of that law to the Ohio Supreme Court. In Jul 2017, the court ruled in favor of Dayton and parts of the law was declared unconstitutional and now the cameras are back. At least, that is my understanding.

That's correct $85 + processing fees. No points in DL (it's just about the money), I'll proly just follow your advise and pay it thinking is part of the hunting.
