I've asked this very same question, especially when in a city I am not so familiar with. Sometimes I want to know the distance from me to you, and moreover, I want to know how long it will take so I am promptly on time. Is this not too much too much to ask?

I don't think I've ever had a provider give me an exact address until I was enroute. It's almost always a 2 call. Get to the general area, then get the exact address. Even Violet did that with me the first time I saw her and I was coming in with a referral from you. I would suggest asking "Can I get some general cross streets so I can get any idea of drive time?" Most if not all will be comfortable with that.
