I only got into it in the internet era. Pre internet days sound horrible. But there are VERY MANY "working girls" on 'straight' dating sites, I won't list them but they are all the big ones you know like the one that's named after a fish, the one named after a tennis 'match', and on and on. I met a woman who works a straight job at walmart and was on a 'straight' dating site. As long as men want to get laid and ladies want to get paid there will be a way.
