My question is: why is it that it takes me multiple passes and even after a good amount of time, I may not find anything? He decides to go out there one day in broad daylight and apparently finds multiple SW no problem. Life just ain't fair!

To be perfectly honest, the hobby is probably best off without them in the hobby. Most of them are downright scary lookin. No way I'm letting any of them anywhere near any part of me.
