I was only at Lanes once. Had TIA. Horrible service and asked for more tip. I think the other lady there is pushing 70. In my opinion the worst spot to go. As far as I know all the ladies from the old IVY were from out west so maybe they went back there.

Try Cove in Lombard. I have not been there in a while but I always enjoyed it.

Has anyone been to Lanes recently since Ivy has crappy service? Any info on where the Ladies from the old Ivy went?

Sounds like my friend Lucy's space. Good English. Smart, clever, funny, nice, pretty (but not stunning) woman. Taken her to Red Lobster a couple times, and despite her small size, she can eat like a horse. She is pretty careful until she gets to know you. Beauty Parlor next door, so park away from it. The old ladies watch everything. Bob.

Sometimes I wonder about the YMMV situation. Yesterday, when I was with a friend, we were talking and she broke into tears. Inconsolable. Told me how afraid she was every day. Afraid of Americans. Forced to sleep alone in the shop with no lights on. Seven days a week. I admit it brought me to tears also. Pretty funny massage. Two people lying side by side crying, hugging and kissing.

I have mostly Chinese friends. Not sure why. But nearly all of them have told me they are afraid of Americans. Many of the Chinese women that come here and work in AMPs are divorced. Mostly poor English. Unfamiliar with how things work in America. Constant threat of deportation.

So with that as a backdrop, we can sometimes scare our friends unintentionally. I can tell you I truly feel empathy for these women and I believe that they can see this empathy and are drawn to it. As I am drawn to them. Even if you are a casual visitor you can put them at ease and get much further in your session. And if you invest the time nothing is off the table. Bob.

I went to LaGrange once when it first opened. Good massage and that's it. I have heard good things about Cindy but never met her.

Golden Spa in LaGrange isn't worth it, as you said yourself. I had a 4 hand there, and one woman actually stared at the ceiling as she stroked my meat. I think $200 is a lot to experience Buyer's Remorse, as you seem to have. Golden has been removed from my list of places to go.

LaGrange Spa is also a waste of time. It's a very tiny place, and parking is odd because it's a two-story office apartment / condo building. If you don't park directly in front of the spa, you feel (or actually are told), that you're parking in the spaces for another business. Three visits, and the most I got was a "thank you". Oh, and one time I did get asked "Not $20? When I tipped $15. I won't be returning, so you'll now get zero, my dear.

The only place I'll go in LaGrange is Ivy over on Burlington Ave. , by the train tracks. NOT to be confused with Ivy in Lombard. And I only see Cindy at this place. I like the design and look of the place, and Cindy's skills are right in my wheelhouse. The menu will be very limited with anyone there. Cindy and I just get along, and we'd probably get along if we had met in another environment. She, and the place, make an hour enjoyable. And there's a lot of free parking nearby.

Saw an L spa down the street on west side, in a small 2 story strip. Any intel on that?

I dropped in a couple of times and had both Angie and Jenny. Both haggle too much and killed the mood. Both asked way too much HJ. 8, cbj1. , cfs1. 60. Angie was the worst of the 2 of them, haggledo way to long, but did settle for normal prices when I got up to leave. Super bad attitude during the CBJ.

4 hands is still available, I know because Jenny left my session to do a 4 hand with Angie to the monger next door. Poor guy probably paid a ton for it too.

If you go, tell them what you pay athe PT and you will go there instead. They need to match price and service if they want a repeat.

As to what dmichaels69 said, I've already "boycotted" Ivy by crossing it off my list of places to go. I've done that with several places over the course of 2015, and I'll continue to do it with any place that gives me sub-par anything. Stopped going there 8 years ago. Was told to come there by Lee. Killer hands on that woman. Strong legs too.

She took me to several places but I lost track of her after Maple. I'd look for her but of the 2 girls I see now one might take me out of the game.
