You nailed it. She told me she used to live in LA. First of all Angie, that doesn't impress me at all. But she was probably a Pay4 Play operator out there, and got used to the movie producer-TV director-software developer-internet company IPO dudes, who throw money around for the fun of it. Maybe she got a little shopworn, developed a habit, or had to disappear for a while, so she ends up in Lombard. Unfortunately for her, the only thing in common with LA is the capital L. And she ain't as great as she thinks.

Also, haven't these ladies learned the haggle not only messes up the session but also puts them in danger. ?? Aren't they taught the do's and the don't's to stay UTR? Don't they know talking money before is not good for business?

It's sad to see this. I haven't been out much lately but was hoping to stop in there yearly in the new year. Looks like I'll have to look for a new spot.

Ivy in Lombard has new owners and new employees. Bora, who also called herself Connie, was the mamasan with the prior owners, and has left the building, along with Sunny and Yumi. Yes, the 4 and 6 hand (and 2-3 mouth) massages are a thing of the past. Yes, the place is probably dead because of the new ownership and the new employees. Ivy is not worth the trip to me, and won't be worth the trip until I read about a big change on a number of levels. Overpriced at the door, overpriced in the room, overpriced in their minds, overpriced ego tripping providers.

While the looks of the ladies has improved service has not. The taller of the new ladies while nice messed up the whole session with the haggle. As you mention they're already overpriced when you walk in he door. While everything is still offered on a one on one basis it seems we all miss the double and triple team action.

One time I brought in some fruit and other goodies to the lady's at Yun in hopes of getting an extra set of hands during a session while it was slow. No such luck.

I was reading some reviews on another Massage Parlor Reviews site and came across some interesting reading about Ivy Spa. Decided I should take a drive out there today and remembered there is a Lombard thread on USASG. Needless to say I was very sad to read this information. The review I read was for a woman named Bora and was dated Dec 15th. I also ready some great reviews about Connie and Suki. Is it just the spontaneous 4 hand sessions that have ended or is this place dead because of the new ownership? PM me if you do not mind. I would like to know if it is still worth a trip. My go to lately is Yun because they offer a 1/2 hour but Ivy is definitely closer to me.

It's amazing how slow the Lombard thread has become with the change in ownership at Ivy. This has definitely not been a change for the better. I'd say it's a case of "don't know what you've got till it's gone". Connie, Sunny, and Yumi had crazy skills at making a visit memorable. I, for one, actually enjoyed Sunny's massage skills. For whatever reason, her technique just worked great and felt great, and I'm not referring at all to the Big Finale. She also had a fine body on her. No place and no experience like what they provided. They knew how to run the place, knew what they were doing, did it well, and will be missed. Now for that Moment of Silence.

I went once, long long ago (before I was a member here). Parked out front (my mistake) and got verbally hassled when I left by the bar patrons. Thankfully I was in a dealer demo car since mine was in the shop, but never went back. Service was lousy anyway.

Was one of my go-to places 5-6 years ago when Yung (now Lucy at Cove) worked there. But after she left, place went down hill. Always parked in back.

The place was a dump. The service was lousy. Read a review that called it the "Triangle of Shit" with a couple of other places. Maple was a One and Done for me, so no loss. And now that I've crossed Ivy in Lombard off my list, since the ownership change, I have no reason to drive up Route 53, other than to visit Rayme's.
