I was thinking about how effective and cheap the Backpage notice was for the cops. One would have to think that they didn't have enough evidence to get a judge to sign either a search or arrest warrant. The notice had the same effect. It shut down the parties just by the public threat of arrest of anyone involved. The cops accomplished their objective for the cost of salary required to write and post the notice. In most civilized countries, this tactic is called "extortion." I am curious where the cops got the pictures. I wonder if they were taken while they were "detained" legally or otherwise, or, if they had "issues" somewhere else in previous lives?

During dreams about going to a couple of very early parties, I admit I was scared away by the visibility of the business and by the armed robbery a couple of years ago (discussed here several pages back). Years ago, I knew a guy who owned a companionship and entertainment business. He told me the keys to being left alone were to pay your taxes and stay low-key.

These side-hustle events (like Mr. Nelson's) attract clients AND talent thru the web. Not very discreet fellas! The easiest way to get caught up in this game is dealin w / bullshit middlemen. Generally speakin, the more people you have to deal w / to get to the talent, the more things can go wrong. There are a lot of TCGBC copycats in this area. Don't fuck w / them!
