I had my HIV test recently. It was awkward as usual (my knees shaking as I wait for the results). I spoke with the doctor (an Indian female) as she asked me if I was sexually active.

Doc: are you sexually active?
Me: yes.
Doc: do you have sex with men, women, or both?
Me: women only.
Doc: do you use a condom every time?
Me: yes every time without exception.
Doc: how many partners do you have?
Me: too many I am sure.
Doc: how many this month?
Me: 4-5.
Doc: how many last year, in your lifetime?
Me: I have no idea.
Doc: more than 100.
Me: yes more than 100.

I am not sure what she was going through her mind at this time, but she was very understanding.

She informed me of risks, such as using condoms properly, and the risk level of various sexual acks (such as anal). I informed her that anal is not my thing, I am almost strictly a vaginal kind of guy.

My test came back negative.

My old doctor got nervous when the topic of sex came up, I would ask for blood work and he would not check "HIV test" on the blood form, I would need to specifically ask him to do so.
I had to ask him for an HIV test every time I saw him, he would respond with statements like "why would you need another test, didn't you get one last year?".

At my stage of life I do not have time for any more games, this is our life we are talking about here. All Maryland mongers should consider either including or replacing their current doctor with a Chase Brexton doctor ASAP!
