Maybe my operational security is lacking. I am good on communications. GV, only ever use it with my burner or from computer with VPN on. No danger of revealing real number on a call back.

But the license plate is weak point for me. Do you just unscrew it once you park? Seems like that would attract some attention in the lot. I assume you don't drive without a plate on? THAT would definitely attract some attention from LE. Like they say, if you have dead hooker in the trunk, make sure you don't have a busted tail light. I frequently drive SB's around in my car. Meet once place for meet and greet, then go to FC, etc. Lots of them don't have cars and I just don't see a way around driving them sometimes.

They call you, no issue. You return call & your real cell number hits their caller I'd.

Just go into the settings inside the app, go the "Calls started from this device's phone app" setting and set it to Select Number For Each Call. Then every time you make a call, it prompts you whether to do it via your GV number or your phone's real number.

I also like that because the extra step prevents me from ever accidentally calling someone if I click on a number by mistake.

No problem when you initially make the outgoing call. The thing that can screw you over is if they call you then you return her call by clicking on the incoming call. They call you, no issue. You return call & your real cell number hits their caller I'd.

A quick google search can show your name & address or more. For $20 they can put your number in a paid search website & literally get everything. Wife & kids names with their info, employer info, criminal records, etc.

I just got an incoming call from my brand new SB & sure enough, there it is on my I-Phone real number under recent calls. Has her made up name under contracts. I made the contact fake name in GV for texting but guess what? It's also in my "real" contact list!

Back when I cared more about deep cover, I'm pretty sure I was able to have GV show my GV number as the originating number rather than the actual caller for incoming calls. Since I only had one SB, I always knew who it was. So no danger in doing an accidental callback. It also meant that on the really low chance my ex-spouse were to look at phone logs, only the GV number would show up. Which would still require some 'splainin to do, but better than actual phone numbers to follow up on.

Try using the EPIC browser, you can change the country you are in, you can even change the part of the USA you are in. So you don't use the same IP address. I also agree, use a different picture, don't sign up thru AOL, just use EPIC on your computer (I assume you have 24 hr internet access and don't use AOL to sign into the internet). I have been playing with this browser, its seems good and real. Its free also, just search "EPIC browser" (don't download the medical information system named EPIC, hahaha). The correct website is: https://www.epicbrowser.com/.

I tested this, I used east coast USA, west coast USA and Canada as my location in EPIC. When I went to "checkmyip", all the IP addresses were very different. The way this works is that your IP address is then transmitted to another server somewhere else and a different IP address is assigned. It is safe to do, you won't get your info stolen.

For you phone, NINJA VPN seems to work well to hide your regular IP (iPhone at least).
