OK, for some reason out of the blue GV decided to ban me! Sigh.

Rather than dump the burner and start over, I am looking for a APP to replace it.

Have used TextNow, which is good for texting, but 'no can do' voice calls unless connected to wifi. I refuse to connect the burner to my home wifi for OpSec purposes. Plus, one can't get incoming calls while away from wifi, like when going to meet a date and needing additional directions via voice.

Other apps in this space appear to be business oriented with all kinds of group functions, etc. Just want a phone number like GV provides and the ability to call and text, not interested in paying a monthly fee either.

What is the solution?

This one is a train wreck. Had a meet and greet in a local rest. Definitely high on something. I immediately start figuring how to politely leave. She is OK in the looks dept. Almost definitely a scammer. She has changed her location a couple of times since I have seen her on the site. She didn't have a problem traveling to me, but the day of the meet, she asked me to send money for traveling expenses. I told her I would be happy to reimburse in person, but she wouldn't budge.

I guess she did everyone like that. I had been in contact with her and tried a couple times to set something up and she seemed to be rather busy.
