I have a complete sugar identity I have used w / the site since the word go, a real address that isn't mine, a name that isn't mine, etc. I have never had any problems. I always use prepaid debit cards, and have posted multiple times for guys as to what cards will work on the site.

I have used browsers w / built-in VPN to access the site, including Tor, and I have used vanilla browsers in stealth mode (no saving of history) to keep my machine clean of evidence of my activities. If doing that, I use a separate VPN into a large corporate server. I find Tor can sometimes be very slow to access sites, I assume this is because one of the nodes that you bounce among could be a machine with limited bandwidth, you have no control over that.

It is flat out not true that seeking is now demanding verification of identity (w / government identification) from all of its users. They only do this for people they get suspicious about. Either because they were reported, or perhaps they scan their messages or profiles.

I have been on and off SA for a number of years, I've been verified without any issues, I'm single. I absolutely understand the circumstances are challenging if you are married. As Topgun9 found out the hard way was SA has partnered with a very stout fraud detection platform Au10tix.com to verify users. That being said good luck trying signup giving false information / payment type or using VPN or Spoofing device fingerprinting. You may be able to log-in once but the second time you log-in the platform will flag your account on hold until you provide verification as what happened toTopgun9. But I'm surprised they now want to verify with government I'd when a real "bank" credit card should suffice for I'd verification if you provided (somewhat?) correct information when you signed up. I'm only guessing if payment went through but you were flagged for some reason or another for being a bad actor, I'm assuming they want a Gov Id for Pii and profile biometric face identity verification to allow you to continue use SA.

Yeah, they are asking for way for too much info, for a dating / escort site.

It's not like we're entering Federal buildings or airports.

I have had accounts banned in the past, and got back on just fine with new email / accounts, etc. Usually works best if I go to Starbuck / Dunkin and use their Wifi to sign up and pay for Premium.

This is just a pain in the ass having to start from scratch again. Creating new email accounts, finding new payment methods, writing your profile again, messaging members, etc.

Yeah, changing MAC address seems extreme, but some in the past have sworn that SA "sees" that and uses it to keep banned dudes from returning. Same of the computer "fingerprint".

BTW. IF I wanted to run a fingerprint scan, how would I do that? LOL.

This one is a scam, as you can see very pretty gal, messaged back and forth asked for another pic on the site, said this is her friends account -the pic she sent was a Asian lady from China, I blocked immediately. I've noticed this type of scam in the Richmond area over last year. Good luck.

Not sure why you need to change MAC, unless one installs something from a website, your MAC is not available to a website.

Of course Easier to change MAC if one uses a VMs, and use Bridged networking rather than NAT (if you're not using a VM).

Can also run fingerprint scans once in a while to see if your machine fingerprint changes often.

But just a VPN, diff number / email, pic should do.

Sorry for all of the BS you went through, but good to see you are getting some funds returned!

I suspect the best you can do at this point is take the steps guys who got banned in the past took to get back on the site:

To Set Up a "new" SA profile

New burner number.
New burner email addy.
Use a VPN to hide your IP Addy.
Use a different CC or use a prepaid / gift card.
Some say change your MAC address, but this has other issues.
Use new photos and none that were posted on the site. Might make sense to do some searches on your photos using various methods.

And stop paying with your bank debit card, LOL.

Yeah, but I renewed recently after a lengthy absence and had no such verification requirement, that in spite the fact that my profile was once banned and I was able to cajole CS into reinstating me.

So not sure how universal or consistent this "policy" maybe?

Just got off the chat with their Customer Service. They refused to remove the hold or re-instate my account without the verification.

But they did agree to provide a refund (prorated).

At least I get most of my money back.

After several years of being on and off the site, I've never had this happen personally and I certainly hope this is not something new. Definitely seems like shady practice to suspend your account after you paid for premium.

I was once asked to verify an account, through a similar process. For someone w / a lot to lose from disclosure, I could not take the chance, so I abandoned that account.
